That's not true and you know it. You just refuse to give any credit to him even when he plays well.

That is also not true... you can check my posts history. When he played well i have praised him. I think the me/fellaini joke has just blurred a lot of memories.

The Rooney debate was comical at times, and I was a very guilty party with my stern defence of him and his performances, but are we really debating how Pogba played in one game from 3 months ago?

I thought the debate of how his season went for us was plenty but now inspecting singular games during the season? Takes it to new heights.

On to Martial and the comments made by José:
"Because it would be important at least to work with Mata, Alexis, Martial, which we think are the players we have in attack for the start of the season."

A lot of papers saying this suggests or implies Martial will not be sold, I don't see it that way but maybe I'm wrong. I still believe he will be sold unless José has decided to stop using Rashford on the wing and revert him back to a striker and cover and alternate for Lukaku. And even if he chose this still see him being sold.

    Roll on pre-season

The point I was making is that you have a history of nit picking faults with certain players, first it was Fell, then Rom, then Sanchez. You also have a habit of overstating what Pogba does.

While it is easier to imagine the Frenchman doing this at Manchester United in patches; when the occasion really demanded such a performance, it is rather detrimental to the club; to keep its best outfield player (arguably) from playing to his strengths in a longer and harder competition to win than the World Cup – which requires a different kind of approach to a 38-game Premier League where the level of competition is higher and more sustained.

It is important that Jose Mourinho – who in his recent press conference, mentioned that the need for Paul Pogba to “understand why he was good at the World Cup”, also understands that the circumstances – that were necessary for the 25-year old to show that side of his game at the World Cup, which he really is capable of playing – are not the same as playing week-in-week-out for Manchester United.

You could change the player's in your post and apply that statement to nearly every football fan in the world. :pac:

Seriously lads look at it tho ok we have journalists that we never heard of saying that one of the most successful managers In the game is wrong to expect performances from his star player over a 38 games season.

Look Jose ain't perfect and pogba ain't perfect, we can debate the past as much as we want but if we get performances out of the guy like France got in the world cup I don't care. I've always loved pogba i don't care about hair cuts and stuff I just want the pogba back leading the club and giving his all wether he gets on with the manager or not shouldn't matter get your head down and do what your been paid to do and what you said you always wanted to do.

Lukaku and Fellaini were fantastic against Brazil and you came into the United thread praising Hazard. Not a bit of praise for the two united players who played well. Why not praise united players and why not go to the world cup or Chelsea thread to praise Hazard, because praising Hazard means you can avoid praising players you have previously criticised when they do well. Then when lukaku and Fellaini have a bad game you will be commenting on those performances.

Then when Pogba has a decent game you are in going overboard with praise.

Pogba gets unfairly criticised because the expectations are higher for him then others. He has all the tools to be the best midfielder in the world if he applies himself properly. You hear excuses he is not a defensive player yet you see De Bruyne, Silva, mane and the likes of Salah busting a gut to get back this does not harm to them going forward.

He didn't say that. He said role Pogba played for France isn't enough for ManUtd and it's a very valid point.

And Sanchez, he was saying it as he was asked about Sanchez coming to the tour and he said it’s not ideal as Sanchez needed to be training with Mata and Martial who would be starting the season in attack(paraphrasing obviously)

Fellaini was good but hazard was the stand out player tonight. I dont like him as a player but he was excellent. Lukaku looked disgusted coming off

It's no secret bangkok doesn't feel Fellaini is good enough for United, and will voice that opinion, but to be fair to him I have seen him compliment him at times. He's not going to laud over him or anything, but normally recognises when he makes a contribution.

Yeah was in the quote as Alexis, need that morning coffee dave :P

And yeah, like as much as I want Martial to come good I find it hard to believe he will continue with us after the agents comments. I reckon José is playing up Martial's need and involvement to try get the best deal for him.

On Sanchez, I really hope he kicks on this season. We need him to up a level. Missing pre-season is not ideal, so hopefully resolved quickly.

    Apologizes must have missed that

Regarding his criticism, Sanchez put in one of the worst half seasons as first choice that I've ever seen from a player in those circumstances. Legit looked like an Ali Dia type player, losing the ball constantly and constantly out of position.

Now obviously he's a player with enough good history and enough invested in him to stick with, but he's under pressure at this point to start performing to the level he can. Hopefully the rest this summer will have helped him.

Kit looks much better when you see the full kit as opposed to just the jersey, and the fitted kit will look much better than the loose fan version.

Sanchez posted on instagram story that he will travel to USA and it's last training session in Manchester.

Word out of Italy that Darmian to Juventus is a done deal. No mention of Sandro to United as part of any deal.
