We wondered this too, very odd that they didn't acknowledge it, unless I missed an episode where they explained a health condition/alcoholism...?

Ha! Only in Ireland. If you are not on the beer, then you must be either: A) a recovering alcoholic or B) under medical treatment.

No other possible reasons for not horsing into the pints (or horsing the pints into you).

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

Oops sorry forgot to speculate on whether he's pregnant or not :P

Let's face it, this is Fair City, where I've never seen any adult character drink a soft drink in the pub. 3 characters out of 4 were drinking identical pints, one drinking water with lemon, it seems like a massive oversight not to write into the storyline why he's not on the pints.

Of course plenty of people don't drink for plenty of reasons other than the above, but I don't think Fair City are going to develop much of a storyline out of
    - no interest in drinking alcohol
    - no interest in paying pub prices for pints
    - don't like the taste of alcohol
    - the life and times of a straightedger in Dublin
    - etc

It just seems more likely that there's a background story to it when he so obviously wasn't having a pint. Maybe they did address it already and I missed it along with the other poster who asked.

Nooo! Just when I ran out of my Valium stock...

Shes still a rubbish actress though, she has to say all those things because its her job and if she came out and said "Carol is so boring all she does is snarl and bang on about Billy Meehan". She would be out the door in a flash!

I love the way she implies that she will never get tired of it as if its her decision. At any stage the producers can let someone go without warning, that's the nature of the industry.

No fair city later even though world cup final should be well over by 830pm even factoring in extra time and penalties.

Not very reliable considering last Thursday's episode Fair City (12 July 2018) isn't there yet.

Farah and Jake are a couple now I think? Wasn't much about them after he kissed her and she said " Do dah again". Now they've been away together and all, looking at Farah and her extra freckles it was somewhere hot too! (Oh I forgot, Farah was probably in Carlow but the actor was on her holliers).

Getting tired of Wayne and Orla, they were never really suited, wonder if Orla and Tommy will get going again. The Ram has been starved of sex lately!!!

What happened to Tommy wanting to move to Kilkenny to be near Zach, he broke up with Debbie over this and he has no family (Caoimhe is in Germany) or job so why stay :rolleyes:

Farrah thinks she's losing the plot! I think she's been beaten to that by one of the scriptwriters.

If Tessa was always coming back to sell the flat then why bother going through the charade of booking the place as Air B&B from Charlotte in the first place? She would have had to come clean pretty soon that her psycho brother owned the place and she was back to sell it, how long did she think the whole B&B crap could go on for??

Considering they all live across the road from the pub, and considering that thus is FC, then...yes, very legitimate reason! Surprised they didn't make it clearer that's all :P

Whats the deal with the 2 Collins brothers getting an earful from their Maaaa about them f*cking up the electrics in the salon. Sure if Sharon plugged that dryer thing in the same thing would have happened. Nobody was at fault.....or am I missing something?:confused:
