Here is another angle for Tessa: Maybe she isn't this nice person that she is coming across as and is actually slowly weaning into Emmets, Katys and Eoghans life and they will slowly get to like her until one day she either finishes Katy/Emmet off and it turns out she was in cahoots with Ciaran all along.

I know its very far fetched but don't forget Jim was working for Oakley too. Its not impossible that FC are playing the long game here and remember, they never found Ciarans body either so this could be a game of revenge from both of them against the O Briens.

Yes that's what im thinking- maybe Tessa doesn't fully blame Ciaran for taking Katy as revenge on Emmet but she does blame the O Briens for him now being on the run, maybe they are secretly in touch and are hatching a plot to finish off Emmet for good. Its FC though so this is 100% speculation!

Eoghan was doing some serious detective work last night, put the whole Tessa and Fionn connection together with barely any effort.

Shame he wasn't so observant when his daughter's kidnapper was hanging around all year acting ridiculously suspiciously!

The implication originally was that Tessa was as big a fruitcake as Ciaran. A depressive apparently who then commits suicide as as a result of being dumped by Emmett (someone she barely even knew!).

At the moment she seems all sweet and genuine, but there must be more to her than meets the eye.

The scriptwriters suddenly remembered Farrah has a shop to run.
