I asked Shame earlier this year if they were playing and they said no also.
just played Body & Soul and a few weeks ago announced a Dublin date in November too.

Gone are these great old days we had users in the Electric Picnic forum who would leak the info such as The Log and users like Shivo who had the brilliant thread 'Confirmed for the Picnic' before the main bills came out, he used to search all the different gig guides and find wee gems that mentioned Stradbally in the gig listings.

Like the fellah this year who found out about Jimmy Cliff playing All Together Now and Bestival. these revelations are becoming less and less and the well wishing on EP's Facebook page is turning into sarcasm. I haven't a fecking notion was coming in this supposed announcement. Of course, I've got ATN to look forward too and then the week in Stradbally. :)

Maybe FR will announce something this week now Latitude and Wireless are out the way, as for potential new additions I noticed Titus Andronicus and Death Grips are both playing UK dates days before EP.

Death Grips would be a serious coup, first Irish festival.

At this stage they’ll probably announce it a week after EP ends.

That just makes no sense ??

Why would they do that ??

I just seen on Nialler9 that CHVRCHES have announced gigs in Belfast and Dublin, so thats probably them out of the EP list of musicians now.

Ffs Niall, those dates are in February, they haven't pulled out.

Lads it's starting to resemble the mental institution in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest in here now, everyone picking a specific mania and worrying away at it.

To keep us occupied,If you can realistically have only 1 more big act added who would it be?

Would have to be Weller for me, if he’s announced I’d be happy out.

We're short a main stage dance act. I'd love to see the prodigy announced, but I doubt it

Yeah I would like to see them or 2manyDJs who would also fill the dance act that's missing, they are around that weekend too it seems.

I would love to see Slowdive announced as well, touring this summer and no Irish dates so far.

Would love a good indie band to be annouced. Alt J, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kasabian(Highly unlikely). One of them three would make my weekend.

We wont be getting any big additions from Longitude. Some smaller local bands maybe, but no one major

A f*cking Monday in Dublin. So many gigs this year I haven't been able to travel to.

    I might just move...

F3ck was hoping they’d be added to ep. V unlikely now I’d imagine.
