    Sanchez has US Visa problems.

Always find that kind of red tape bureaucracy hilarious. The ideas behind visas is to protect the country from undesirables getting in...

I would Eden Hazzard a guess that anybody can YouTube more information about Sanchez then the American special forces could find out by interrogating a prisoner who sings like a canary....

Another bonus from the World Cup is that Thierry Henry is dropping his Sky gig to concentrate on coaching. He has to be one of the most bland and useless pundits on there. Good riddance.

Seems the official jersey reveal was posted accidentally and then deleted.

Actually looks nice with the shorts, as the Jersey blends into the black shorts

Likable enough fellow and I wish him well, but weve had too many likeable but not good enough players the past few years. We need more cúnts in our team.

If reports are true that we have got 14-18m for a player who, played 4 times last year, we've made out like bandits.

    Seeing it's 16m rising to 20.5m :O

The hair in his first season was amazing. Been on a steady decline since then, the ponytail/manbun phase being a particular low-point that he struggled to bounce back from.

That's a very good deal for us, also Ajax got a great player (for Dutch league) who won player of the year before moving to ManUtd.

Coincidence or not, since Jose came in, we are getting good price for outgoing manager. If he was ManUtd manager when we sold Hernandez, we would have got 2X or 3X than we got at that time.

Money in the bank doesn't win football matches. Great we got a good price for blind but if we don't bring in quality players then it's absolutely pointless.

Hopefully we put that 16m towards an upcoming purchase.

More wanted just to off-load Blind for peanuts to free up space.

Its up to the manager to pick those quality players and up to him to pick the right team/tactics on matchday. Woodward is doing a fantastic job

Does the kool aid taste nice?

It's up to Woodward to negotiate and complete all transfers, for the quality players selected by the manager.

And he had delivered on every player mourinho wanted apart from perisic last summer. Signed all the players van gaal wanted as well

Alot of criticism can be directly at Jose but Woodward getting any stick is baffling.

The most recent managers have been backed up to the hilt in terms of financial support.

Off field commercial deals are coming though thick and fast, for record amounts, and the club is a money making juggernaut.

He doesn't get involved in anything onfield.

How could any fan possibly have an issue with him?

Why so? By all acounts Jose has a list of players for each position he wants to strengthen and gives them to Woodward. If he can’t get the first player moves on to the next and so on.. why should Jose get any blame whatsoever for not getting players in when he doesn’t negotiate or deal with that apart from giving a list of players

Edit: on more reading I think you mean in general but we are talking more about transfers here so I don’t think Jose should be brought into the equation

Double edit: just to clarify, Mitch’s post was in response to a poster saying that it was up to Jose to pick the quality players(that we buy), of course he picks them as I said above, but it’s up to Woodward to deliver those signings, if he doesn’t deliver and bring in quality players by the start of the season, that’s on Woodward not Jose. But some will still use it as a stick to beat Jose with

Oh, you think all the players we signed were first choices and priorities? Fair enough, i'll leave you to it.

We barely missed any transfer targets, go all the players wanted by Van Gaal and Jose except players like Ramos, Muller, Perisic. First 2 are impossible, 3rd wasn't worth it and we got better player in Sanchez.

Hard to blame Woodward for any of these.
