I have been wearing orthotics insoles for foot pain for the last 6 months. I have 3 pairs or trainers all different brands and I get a different fit with the insole with each of them - as you would without an insole I suppose.

I was wondering as I need a new pair is there a brand best suited to orthocic insoles? Both for running and walking if that makes any difference.

Oh yes of course I take out the original insole as directed.

One of the problems is that even then the fit can feel that bit too snug. I did actually think of buying a trainer a 1/2 size bigger but wasn't sure it that's a good idea.

Most shops that sell orthotics use Brooks neutral shoes I think.
