    Hi All,

Starting planning to move out of home and buy/or build somewhere in the Cork City region.

I'm wondering has anyone ever known anything or heard anything about buying two adjoining houses and turning them into a superhome?

    Curious on your thoughts?

You would then have the best house on the street. Would it hold it's value?

There was a thread on this before and the general consensus was that the net result was to vastly devalue both properties. So, say both are 300k the superhome isn't antwhere near worth 600k and is also very hard to sell on.

    Very possible subject to planning.
Some examples in Dublin and the most high profile one, would be the one of the episode of Room to Improve.

They did that for the dole queen in England at their taxpayers expense.two semi detached into one.they should have shipped her to the vet and neutered her if you ask me.you will get her on you tube but be warned your blood pressure will burst watching her
