I have to say. If it's the last minute of the world cup final and i need a goal to survive, the last person I want taking the corner, one on one with the keeper or standing over the free kick, is Marcus Rashford.

    What about phil jones?

Rashford is an excellent young player and probably one of the best young players in england

Liverpool not winning the champions league and England not winning the world cup in the space of few months!!!

We have a lot to be thankful for lads!

France were always going to win the final. Too much quality

Harry Maguire does not have good enough feet for a top club.

Only the second funniest thing I've seen today

Too many people were sleeping on Croatia cause they weren't the big, fancy name.
Thought this wasnt out till august here

Rashford really should go on loan to a mid table team.

He needs to play to improve his finishing.

He is not good enough to start for United.

A loan would be beneficial for him and United.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Lord TSC isn't in the country right now.

Is it not out till August in Ireland?

Oops wrong thread but still. Maybe not muck but seemed sloppy at times, couple of balls just given away. Making it somewhat united related I think if pogba had a game like he did tonight he'd have gotten stick.
    Or maybe I'm drunk :/

Modric been most consistent player in the tournament for me apart from Delle Ali.

He scored 13 goals for us last season, 11 season before, 8 before that and he is only 20.

The most exciting young player at th club. No need for him to go anywhere. A very important player for us this season

I think you've completely missed the point Bucketybuck was making.

Thought he has had a brilliant tournament. Huge fan. I dunno looking online most ratings seem to disagree withe tonight except the bastion of sports journalism that is footmob. All I remember tonight of his game was completely missing a volley and giving away the ball a few times under no pressure

I agree, if you mean Deli Ali was consistently poor.

Had a poor first half, but picked up considerably after that.

Bad night for United players I thought.

Young could have been subbed off early, well off the pace down the left.

Lingard made little impact on the game. I would bot be too hard on him, he was playing with Sterling and Dele Alli after all.

Rashford huffed and puffed when he got on but never played a decent final ball.

Typical that Perisic would have a stormer when United players were having a bad night.

I think you can look at it.he picked his game up to lift the whole team. Not many players can go through a tournament playing great all the time but he was there when it mattered.

Not sure why Rashford is on dead balls. His delivery is brutal

I find it amusing the pool fans celebrating england getting knocked out of the world cup yet we were sad for loving and enjoying them getting beaten in the cup final.

Would be fascinated to watch Rashford in training to see what he is doing to get put on so many set-pieces.

    He is abysmal at them.

Difference is our reasons are positive whereas yours were negative and small minded :-)

I as an LFC fan like, ironic as it may seem to many who slate him, that Dejan Lovren is a Champions League and World Cup finalist.

Also, I know from my own perspective that I'm shouting for the underdog nation with a population 4m rather than our 53M colonial neighbours whose government are beholden to their bigoted and misogynistic DUP partners but each to our own I guess ;)

Hope Lukaku plays Saturday and I hope he scores 3. It sickens me to think Kane is going to win the golden boot, he was awful right through the tournament. 3 penalties and 1 that deflected in off him. Rubbish winner.
