Pinhole in wiper water tank

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can help, I have a small leak in my wiper water tank ( 08 Passat highline), and was wondering if there was any kind of liquid i could pour in to harden in the hole?

It is in a very difficult position so I cannot find the exact location, i didnt want to go to the trouble of taking off the whole thing if i could avoid it.

If you put an additive in to block that hole I shudder to think what it would do to the motor and squirters.

Go to a scrappy and get a replacement,
It can't be such a difficult job.

1/. Remove tank.
2/. Find pinhole leak.
3/. Plug it.
4/. Replace tank.

A bit of silicon will seal it handy enough. Id imagine getting it out would be not so handy.

Thanks Biko, I think this may be the cause, exact same type of leak!
