Aswell as Greenwood, Chong, Gomes and Garner I'd assume O'Hara, Pereira Tuanzebe, Mitchell and Olosunde will travel. After all its mostly defenders we are missing due to WC.

Ok Bangkok, given the separation of families at the American border I don't want to escalate this discussion further. I hope the families are reunited soon and we can move on in peace in this thread.

Given George Clooney was in an accident yesterday, I feel it's not right to be engaging in these sorts of discussions tbh.

This thread can be a bit weird sometimes, but that's kinda stating the obvious...

^^ Ain't clicking that SkySports link, I'll wait until I see something from BBC Sport.

And I've just seen a tweet from Simon Stone on it.

And Sky have the price wrong. It's €105m not £ according to most sources.

Don't care about his she that's some price for the best player in the world he could easily go on for 3 more years in any of the top league's.

Even of he slowed his goal ratio down your looking at 30 goals a season for 3 years at least.

Or Ronaldo could easily do what Giggs did and play into his 40's.

Say what you like about Ronaldo but there's no sign of him fading into the sunset. Another country he'll surely conquer. It's what separates him from Messi in my opinion.

Think Juve's domination of Serie A is set to continue a bit longer.

Then again they've won it 7 years on the bounce, only Napoli last season if I remember correctly came close to stopping their 7 year streak..

No way Gareth Bale is moving anywhere this summer. Hopefully we'll be moving on to more realistic targets now if we were interested. Could see them move for Salah with the money their getting on this deal. I know he's recently signed a new deal but I think we know contracts carry these type of clauses nowadays. Not sure who else could fill Ronaldos boots but tbf Salah might

If Juve can sign Ronaldo, who is a superstar and was at the world cup - can we do away with excuses for United not getting their business done.

You lads have an awful obsession with United fans and their opinions on Ronaldo.

    Its properly stalkerish.

Anybody got any insight into why united didn’t sign him? I’m not complaining, I’m just a bit surprised given the fact he’s still an exceptional player with zero sign of his quality lowering and to be frank he would prob guarantee a league or champions league on his own. His marketability isn’t bad either.

Only thing I can think of is age but like I said he still looks amazing and in great shape and has always looked after him.....

    I'm glad I wasn't born in China, I can't speak a word of Mandarin.

Maybe he just didn't show any interest in coming back to United or maybe we didn't show any interest in him but I think Italy is another league for him to win and a good chance at wining the champions league at a third club.

Pity we didn't get him back, had we not signed Alexis he could well be at Old Trafford now, which is sobering when you consider Sanchez's less than stellar performances so far.
Unless Sanchez starts setting the league on fire next season he could become a pariah in light of Ronaldo's availability this summer.
There's also a part of me that thinks Ronaldo maybe didn't relish the prospect of fighting off Guardiola's City side or being kicked off the pitch every week, his style of play a has changed since his time at United and maybe doesn't suit the premier league anymore.
Anyway, it's put to bed at last, no more rumors of Ronaldo's return going forward, hopefully we can build a side that can push on and challenge for titles, 5 years have passed since Fergie left, we need to stop the rot and fast.
