100% he doesnt like lukaku for whatever reason but he won a load of frees and took the pressure off his team. Thought he was very good

Yeah the last 10 minutes he killed the game perfectly and completely demotivated the Brazil team trying to get the 2nd

Actually considering the situation 13 people are in a cave tonight with their life hanging by a thread, i dont want this to escalate any further. I hope they make it out alive and this thread moves on peacefully

Every time Hazard done something brilliant he ruined it by not playing the obvious and easy pass.

Totally agree he had so many opportunities to play the killer pass but tried to go it alone.

[Valentijn Driessen] “Ajax has a personal agreement with Daley Blind, Manchester United wants 17 million.”

    Tier One for Dutch/Ajax news

No way we get that much, but it's nice to see us trying to do well with sales this summer, between this, a Darmian and Johnstone.

That driving run by Lukaku made for DeBruynes goal was sensational. Exactly what you want from your big man up front. Turned 1 player, drove down the middle with the ball inviting 4 brazillian players onto him, releaseing it beautifully to DB who absolutely arrowed it in. Class goal.

Zaha refused a pay rise according to some rumours so will be interesting if he is sold and if united do in fact have a 50% sell on clause it could bring in as much as some of the sales.

Watching the game in a pub last night and the amount of united fans abusing Fellaini.

I have never seen a player like him before where people just can't change their opinion.

A warrior broke up everything and the best player on the pitch in a quarter final, destroyed fernandinho.

Where are all the people who want Mctoninay to be ahead of him in the squad.

What an option to have from the bench.

Any chance we would go back in for Zaha have not personally seen much of him but he seemed to have a very good season from what I heard.

Surprised he didn't make the England squad if he was as good as people were saying.

He opted to play for the Ivory Coast.

Not really suprising tho. I mean we all know goalposts are extremely flexible

It’s funny that I’d level the same criticism as United fans who blindly support Fellaini as if he’s some kind of folk hero. He is not; he is a poor quality footballer, a hatchet man, and a player who is rightly the subject of ridicule from fans with a keener eye. He wouldn’t look out of place playing for Ireland. At United, he looks like one of us who has collected enough cereal boxes to play a game with our heroes.

Classic Boards.ie United thread stuff though to be fair. No United player can be criticised or the gang are on you like a shot. Had Boards been around back in the day, any criticism of Willem Prunier’s performance against Spurs would have been attacked.

    Laughable.

I suppose you wanna say its "cliquey" yeah?

Also you make him sound like some kind of Iron Man-esque Avenger at this point such is your love of the term "hatchet man". Despite him having less cards than 17 or so senior players last year.

If we are looking for 17, we might get a deal done round 12 or so (maybe a few add-ons or whatever) hopefully anyway which would be good money and great for Daley to be back at Ajax.

No more than Darmian 17m asking price is stupidly high.

I suppose the important thing is to be as objective as possible.
I wouldn't be Fellanis,or Youngs for that matter, biggest fans, but I can't deny their performances for Belgium and England have been impressive.
No point having eleven deBruynes. You need destructive players too.
I've been impressed with Fellanis break up play.
He's been a good target man, hold up player, passed intelligently and scored a vital goal.
He was a great sub to have against Japan and I thought he did really well against Brazil yesterday.
If he carries this form into the new season, he'll be a massive asset.

Be good to see Fellanis Red Devil's win the World Cup and the Premier League.

I feel like mourinho doesn't utilise or play to this part of Lukakus game. We use him so much as a target man, ignoring his actual football quality. We need to use and support him better.

HatchetMan™, Pogbo, Magic & Freddo. And people say we dont have a good midfield?

(Nicknames for Herrera and McTominay welcome)
