All crime is legal for 24 hours? What would you do?

The movies focus on murder; I'd probably wuss out, build a safe room, and try my hand at cyber crime and impersonating wealthy billionaires who need a dig out.

If I HAD to go outside, try to "acquire" a sportscar or stock up on groceries (I know, madlad!)

Seriously,

I'd probably abduct someone and "have my way" with them. The only thing I fear is retribution from the family/boyfriend if he ever found out. I'm sure that I'd be brutally tortured even on the non-purge days due to how heinous my crime might seem.

It would be nice in theory but you've got to remember, the thrill of crime is massively reduced as the safety of normality is taken away. It's not a case of being the predator and prey. If you let the guard down, you'll always be the prey.

Its concerning that youre more worried about being beaten up than you are for the fact youd be kidnapping and raping an innocent person..

Isn't law what deters people from murder, rape, theft etc...? Don't people on boards complain about how lax Ireland laws are?

I'm sure that I can't be the only one who wouldn't abduct/assault purely on the basis of legality.
