    Alive alive oh no.

Just crossed the Luas bridge from Abbey Street onto the quays and am saddened to see a tide of floating empty coke, lucozade plastic bottles and cans. Shameful sight.

Urgently needed. But a deposit refund system would work even better.

Considering, there is an entire dump been eroded into the sea out in Bray that no one in either the county council or government seems to care about, I am not really surprised.

The government pushed ahead and rammed in a sugar tax on soft drinks, could have easily installed a process for reclaiming bottles but no, went for the easy number.

People seem to be of the option that all this is hurting the environment, the environment doesn't give two ****s, the earth will keep on spinning, the question is will we still be on it.

The EU should also consider a law on super-trawlers maybe even trawlers, that went they are collecting fish from the seas that as an example, they collect 500/1000kg of plastic waste or just general waste from the oceans for processing. Day dreaming stuff I know, but needs to start somewhere.
