Ive said this before......and not reading back over posts to get me to repeat it is very silly.

But i think there may have been a successful village task rather than a failed wolf task; based entirely on the flavour.

Sorry I’ve just been reading posts from different players the last while.

    Yeah that’s possible alright

    Righteo lads.

One last story from Detective Babs. And I think the goodies then need to spend serious time looking over some responses to my stuff today.

A little while ago, as I was busy taking care of my own stuff (I had a list of errands to run, see. Nine in total), I was walking along and found myself a box that belonged to a certain Dirty individual. I was nearly distracted by a shiny gun across the road, but steadied myself instead, and focused on the box. A gun would have been nice. But Steve had a gun too, and look where he is now. Buried under the patio. Sorry Steve.

(Unless you were bad. Then **** you, Steve).

Whatever the box was (I'm not sure), I just negated it, and Den's powers. Whatever that trump card was that the wolves had up their sleeves, I've removed it from play.

So now the question is.....were the reactions to the box getting taken out genuine from people? Liam seemed to really be pushing hard to take me out this morning. Did he realise what was coming for him? Clodagh, on the other hand, seemed to cosy up once she realized. Pocketing me? Hmm.

Going to take a look over how people were reacting to my posts this morning, AND to what the reactions were after the wolves learned they just lost a power.

Maybe Ive got a timeline wrong but Liam called Babs out straight away after her ranting post. Only after that did he say about naming all the players no?

Conor seems legit to me. Don’t know where the big link between himself and Babs comes from really.

Abigail- I think you’re a goodie from reading through your posts. May I ask for more info about your bad feeling about me?

It’s mainly the structure of your early posts- they feel unnatural is the best way I can explain it, like there’s a task buried there somewhere. That said I haven’t actually found anything yet but I cant shake the suspicion

This story is largely in the same category as Gabes. Most of it is based off what everyone knows from on thread, and there is nothing to prove the rest of it.

I wasnt cosying up to you - and id like you to show me where you think i was, please.

Given some have put you under scrutiny today, this claim needs to be verified.

Fair enough. My d0 posts were 100% fluff and eastenders stuff. Anything after that I’ve been trying to play the game

Have to agree with this. Whilst I believe Babs to be good- if she is a wolf and was completing/attempting a task earlier then a post like this could shield her if someone spots it. The only way it could be refuted would be for a roled goodie to reveal and that would give the wolves an easy target

Mostly it's from the fact I got the vibe you copped what I was doing, and even posted a <3 my direction.

Some people tried to move HARD against me this morning. You're the only one who stood out as nearly communicating that you realized I was doing something. Most everyone else ignored me.

For what its worth, I've now gone over from my "Anti-Village rant" to now, and you're way down my list.

Two names have shot up though. Want to just do some last minute coverage on them though.

Clodagh, here's a question though. For now, run the scenario I did have a task, I completed it, I destroyed Den's box and stripped the wolves of a power.

Read over the responses and see how you feel about the reactions.

How would a rolled goodie reveal refute me? You mean a seer coming out against me?

    Good afternoon village.

That's hopefully me a lot more free now for the rest of the game or as long as I survive.

I have been chipping in what I could in the meantime though. I thought I raised a good point in a post during the night about Fiona, which hasn't been agreed/disagreed with by anyone that I can see.

    On tonight's lynch...

Can we try to be a bit more organised than last night? Even though my post count is low, when I was here yesterday evening I was vocal about us getting more organised for the lynch.

Can't help but feel that Mary last night might have been an easy vote for a wolf to blend in with. As the biggest low-lier and someone who showed they weren't willing to read back over the game, she was either going to be modkilled or we could have dealt with her later. Absolute waste of a lynch.

That loveheart was given because i enjoyed your filthy mouth. Nothing else.

Ok ill take a look now with that in mind.

Your story is still under suspicion, however; and anything i spot in this review will be tempered until we can verify what you are saying.

Sorry not necessarily a roled goodie(my bad) but a goodie who actually completed a task and that you are bluffing it.

If no one else does claim to have completed it then I’ll believe you

On Desmond getting munched - From reading back over interactions between he and Steve around 5pm yesterday, I got the feeling that Desmond wasn't in the slightest bit worried about Steve and his gun.

Quite possible that Desmond could have been Grant/Vig, and the wolves took him out this morning because of that.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

Ok yeah some interesting reactions Babs. They all hinge on your alignment being good, though.

Barbara - can you share the details of your task with us so that we can verify what it is you claim to have done?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

Id love to believe you Babs - but thats two players with unverifyable stories that could be seen as capitalising on vague mod announcements.....

Its conceivable that if you two were wolves, you would have a heads up on whether tasks have failed or not failed, and thus contructed a backup plan around that eventuality.

Ugh ive gone too far into the rabbit hole..,....i need a break.

Look boys, Mr "Im a wolf" is back. Join me in the interrogation room, would ya please? Cause I get a stench of criminality off ya

Ask what you like. I'll happily answer when free

Yeah Orla I’m confused with that logic aswel.

If Dessie was the vig then he wouldn’t have been protected and would’ve taken a bullet like anyone else. There was also a lot of people who didn’t react to Steve and his gun. Myself included. Why would Des be the vig?

Seriously struggling with this but here we go

    #FFA2

Jake: don’t see what he’s adding to the game. And whilst I already said himself and Babs might both be good he’s still going on

Henry: for being so adamant that there was a vote blocking power(tenuous doesn’t even come close)

I really am lost at the minute. I’ve clodagh, Babs, Abigail, Conor and Brendan as a tentative list of goodies. Other than that I’m utterly lost

Question for you before I do.

There's a chance one or two of the tasks might out others if they have/had similar tasks. So do you want the full list, or will I just give a few examples?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,294 ✭✭✭Barbara WW

(I'm going to preface this one; I don't have the best track record of being a genuinely good investigator in these things. So I'm not going to lead the village here. I just want to offer my thoughts on what I've read today).
    Liam WW wrote: »
I'm having a mare of a game if this is true.

Looking back, you worked HARD to discredit me. Calling out the task in #1048, putting me quickly onto an FFA in #1057, more going after me in #1087. You tried to lump Connor in with me in #1105, and then tried to take credit for stopping the task from #1108 onwards.

If I'm honest, it comes across as if you really, really hated seeing me doing a task and tried everything to block it asap.

Other thoughts from looking at posts from between my rant at the village and now.

Jake also pointed out tasks early, but I don't see much point going after him yet. I would like him peeked sooner rather than latter, but don't have enough yet to think if he's good or bad. Jake, I genuinely only picked on your this morning cause you were foolish enough to engage with me, giving me the chance to bang out quite a few tasks. If you're good...sorry.

The people who quickly started FFA'ing me as the posts went on were Henry, Dorris and Liam.

Whats jumping out though, right now, is I'm really, really suspicious of the interactions between Gert and Abi today. Now, this is just my random thoughts from having read over the last 100 posts or so.

In #1049, Gert responds to my rant as if to take it very seriously. He then suggests he wants to off Jake.

Over the next few posts, Abi mirrors the sentiment nearly identically; buys my story/rant, wants to target Jake, and in #1059, wants to FFA Jake and Gert.

Abi in #1119 flips a bit, and tries to back up Liam in his disapproval of me.

Despite being on Abi's FFA twice, Gert in #1123 asks...

"Abigail- I think you’re a goodie from reading through your posts. May I ask for more info about your bad feeling about me? "

Over the next few posts, Abi and Gert start having what I can't help but feel is a bit of a rehearsed conversation. Nearly as if they've realized that being hostile, even if remotely, could be dangerous. Need to mend fences publicaly to give Abi an excuse to stop voting Gert into FFAs.

Both voted Jake into their FFA1. Neither actually voted Jake. Both were quick to latch on to my insane excuse to bicker with Jake this morning.

    ============

The only other person of note who I'd be curious about is Dorris. She FFA#d me quickly after I had the rant, was the first to post when the Box was revealed on here (the wolves likely got a heads up of a few seconds this was coming btw), tried to push it as a "failed task" when it read, at least to me, clearly as if a villager blocked the wolves power. Then in #1119 quickly makes an excuse to disappear off for a while.

That's not definitive proof, but from the overall reactions to the unfolding of the events, Dorris' reaction reads the most like "I'm clueless about what happened, and now I'm running away so I don't have to answer questions".

So, right now, my FFA is...

    #FFA2
    Gertrude
    Abigal
    Dorris

    Quickly to compare notes.....

    Liam Called post a task
Gerty Told you to chill out, didn’t cast shade on you as wolf though. Shifted focus to Jake
Abi Told you to chill. Tried to shift focus to Jake
Liam Pulled you up on mentioning villagers names
Brendan No longer considers you a wolf
Henry Says you are noisy and look wolfy
Doris either a baddie or nrv, really dont think is a RV.
Liam Repeated that you named every villager
Liam Clarified it wasn’t actually every villager
