Site was down this morning for me at least, might have something to do with it since there’s usually a flurry of activity when people get up for work etc

Site was live from 8am, afaik.

But anyway, the 'today' i reference is in terms of this day phase, which started after the munch.

Low posts between 10am and 1pm isnt great, wouldnt you say?

Not particularly atypical though, usually I expect things to pick up at lunchtime and after 5, with a bit of variance for different time zones for some players

For anyone wondering how i did those tallies, at aroud 10.30 i grabbed the total posts, then deducted any posts from those totals that happened between 10 and 10.30.

Then grabbed the totals at 12ish and did the same thing.

Excel makes it easier to do. There isnt really an easy in built way of searching threads by day to get day by day post counts.

11 players have 2 posts or less since munch. I understand what you are saying, but these players need to start posting.

Otherwise its high posting villagers badgering high posting villagers and, sure maybe there is a wolf in the bunch, but there could also be wolves sitting back doing nothing, only to do a burst of posts later.

Min posting requirement met; out of the limelight for the entire day.

Hello Riona. Welcome to the party. Busy morning?

So, basically, 12 players aren't playing?

Like...one or two, I'd get, but there's so many people just sitting on their asses.

Its 1pm now. Are we doing FFAs?

True, do we think there are wolves in the relatively small number of ffas from yesterday? Or are some of them lying lower?

post 695 has collected a pile of ffa, but they are not in chronological order , as evidenced by henry's revised ffa being first.
i need to coalate all the ffas chronologically before i can determine more

and not split over multiple posts and even missing some.

Its not definitive, but i like to look harder at those who give the first five ffas.

People can do them whenever they want, but the results will be skewed imo if you are basing choices on this morning, since half the players havent been posting.

I should correct myself. Those numbers are from between 10am and approx 12.30 Not 1pm.

Its not as bad, but still.....to (presumably) check in on the munch and not post, for so many players.

    Its not great.

I don’t disagree but I can only speak for my own experience- I post when I can get on, usually in bursts with gaps in between if I run to meetings or stuff

Again based on previous experience I’d expect a mix of wolves, one active, one quiet and maybe two somewhere in the middle. Sk is probably less active unless it’s a demonic skull

In work and mad busy at the minute but hopefully finished the cleaning shift soon.

Jake the 2 mentions of Russia definitely rouse suspicion for me. Having said that could be a goodie needing a task aswel

I voted Desmond (or at least thought I did will check back after this) I thought him steering the village towards a vote on bullets was kind of a wolfy move at the time and I really didnt suspect anyone else.

Its not a game mechanic. I REPEAT ITS NOT A GAME MECHANIC.

    As you were!

Can we take any inference from this around whether Isla was a villager or wolf? Surely if they were a wolf, a sub would have been found?

It gets worse if certain votes are being blocked too.
    donald-trump-rigged-election-voter-fraud-investigation.gif

Based on the spread last night, the village is going to be in trouble cause they can block the votes of those who are most influential.

The village is in trouble. Big trouble. No one contributing, no one putting forth ideas, driving the team forward. At least Clodagh is leading us a bit, which means she'll be chopped tomorrow morning.

But the rest of the village are utterly ****ing useless right now. A scattergun approach from a group of blind, useless idiots. I bunch of monkeys would be achieving more than this village right now.

No one is posting FFAs. And what happens now? We start floating the idea that whoever posts FFAs first are most likely wolves? Awesome, brilliant move guys. That's going to get people involved, isn't it? *Applause for Eve*

I don't think I've ever participated in a worse game, in terms of village co-ordination. Usually, at least the first day or two, we can get everyone on the same page, and get everyone voting accordingly together, even if it gives wolves a place to hide.

But this game? Bloody hell, we're hanging our own, shooting our own (cause the villager with the gun was a trogladite who is now trying to cover up his own bloody ineptitude with the most crazy story I've ever heard. If Beaker wasn't playing, i'd say it was him, with how absurd it is).

At least Jake and Mary openly are just admitting their laziness and not being bothered; the rest of the asshats in the group are MIA. Half the ****ing village just sitting down the pub with their heads up each others arses, Human Centipede style, guzzling **** with grins on their faces.

Oh, Ewan, brilliant question, ask them who they voted for again, cause they've only answered a half dozen times. Still, at least that draws us away from "but why" questions to Gabriel again.

Here's a thought guys, just a crazy one; maybe Gabriel is lying, because he has something he wants to keep hidden for a while, right? Maybe, instead of focusing on him, all the live long day, someone will actually start aiming questions at some of the players content to refuse to play, right?

Post up some FFAs people. Or is everyone as big a bloody dimwitted moron as I think they are, huh? Seriously, I'm pretty dishusted by the level of villager play right now. I have to imagine Jake and his buddies are sitting in the wolves room jacking each other off with delight at how crap the village are playing right now.

Not sure I get the joke really.

Babs chill the bloody beans there. It’s lunchtime of day 2.

I for one am happy that we don’t have 1/2 players just advocating for random bullets all round.

At the minute Jake is top of my list. I’ll have a proper break soon and head down to the cafe to look over the posts of a couple of players that I’m interested in

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,864 ✭✭✭Nigel WW

RIP Dessie, was nice knowing ya.

I've got a player I'm keeping a close eye on today, I'm not liking what I see. As for others, there's a lot of people (myself included) who've been very quiet today.

What's the plan with FFAs? I think getting them out in the open would be a better move. More time to ask questions and catch a wolfie on a like.

Alternatively, you gave a wonky gun to a prominent player and (whether you could or not) risked a village player being killed.

As a result of this, we not only lost the bullet you gave, but potentially a vig bullet, if Steve wasnt a wolf (which it looks like from flavour).

Can you see how this could be seen as too much of a comedy of errors on your part? Of you trying to generate some goodwill when you didnt really have skin in the game?

To play devils advocate, what if the wonky gun was a wolf power. You used it, and now are trying to clear yourself with the above interpretation. What do you think of that?

Re: The Gabriel discussion. I get where you're coming from but I really don't think there's any point going down this lane at the moment. If Gabriel isn't lying, he's just an NRV now. And I tend to agree with his argument that he's brought an awful lot of heat on himself on day 1 which is madness if he is actually a wolf. I'd be inclined to believe him for the time being and move on to other suspicious characters. Like Doris for example. Doris can you explain where you got the fact that Riona is the BG from Gabriel's story?
    Doris WW wrote: »
If Grant is the vig, which makes sense to me, it doesn't necessarily mean Steve was bad. If the gun was assigned randomly he is more likely to be good. But what doesnt sound right for me is why did Grant loose the gun. If he was the vig, and has no more bullets, may as well reveal himself?

If we are to believe Gabs story, riona is Grant, doesn't mean they are rolled though.
