There was a previous thread on here about this a few years ago but seriously; what do all you guys think is the best takeaway/fast food outlet in Laois??
Personally I reckon its Donies (although it seems to be closed?) There's nothing like Donies after a night out in the mixer or that! (So if it is closed forever it's a huge disappointment). Donie had great food, his chips were heaven! The others in town like zam zams, nino's ive found to be mostly mank. Alans is a great chinese although portions are a little small. Anyways im interested in other opinions and maybe even a little debate ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

    Thread needs a poll.

Needs people to nominate a number of places and then for those to be added to a poll.

For chips I like the Golden Grill and for a curry the Indian on Banks Place has been fairly consistent. Not found a decent Chinese yet - all a bit hit and miss, the one by the church is rank.

Might help if you name the location, its Laois not just Portlaoise.

There you go, all the more reason to say the actual location.
