Hi,

I've been trying to work out if I have to register for VAT when I am providing freelance services to a ltd company in another EU state. I've read the Revenues page on the matter (https://www.revenue.ie/en/vat/vat-on-services/when-is-vat-charged-on-services/general-place-of-supply-rules-for-services.aspx) but it's still not clear to me if I need to or not. I'm under the threshold of €37,500. Can anyone explain to me how this works?

Vat on services between EU members 0% You dont need to be VAT payer. But is better to be, if you have expences. You can reclaim VAT than. But accountant will charge for VAT calculation €500 per year or you can do it yourself.
