FYI, the same thing happened again where i cut the clue short to make sure its not too easy. Ill keep a second clue in my back pocket for use if ive judged the difficulty wrong, but it will be at my discretion! :)

Also blues, let me know which L you want. The one on the left or right of the board.

My first thought would be larch maybe? Only other tree I can think of is lilac. And presumably that would have purple flowers or something.

    Any ideas?

Also pretty sure larch is used in house building.

Larch is probably a good call, I can't think of any other tree starting with L. Also I was aiming for the L on the left side of the board.

    Confer with BJ and Guffy..

Larch is the only tree beginning with L that I've heard of. Lilac has been mentioned too, so unless ye have any brighter ideas, I've just be inclined to go with that?

Yeah, true enough. Is Lillies a tree though, thought it was just a flower?

    Guffy - any thoughts?

Haven't a clue. Agree lilac would be incorrect though but if ye know any other trees beginning with L take a stab

The urge to google is strong. I suppose I can now that we've lost our chance but I'm trying to keep to the spirit of the game.

    More teething stuff.

What happens if both teams dont guess correctly? The block stays open for another round? Its blocked off from both teams?

In the show, it was instantly reclued for the buzzer, but that wont work here.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

I'd say just leave it blank and can be reclued in the future

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 16,287 Mod ✭✭✭✭quickbeam

Only L tree I could think of was Linden?

Reluctant to do that as the L isnt beside a yellow block.

Stealing a block is one thing, but starting off on an unadjoining block is another, imo.
