Personally I'm happy Pogba played the full game, got himself on the scoresheet and France picked up the win.

Hoping it can kick him on, first match is hard to read much into for most teams but hopefully gives him confidence and can help get him into a rhythm for them.

Also, disappointed for DDG making that poor mistake but hopefully he picks himself up.

    Per Sky.

65m bid for Skriniar rejected. Find that hard to believe. Doubt we'll be doing anything again till mid-July.

Overrated and suffers big time from small man syndrome.

Could say the same about few players in our midfield.

Tbf the links latterly seem to be to players that are not at the World Cup, we have Skrinar, Verratti, Bale

When Wilshere is fit he’s a very good player but how often can you say he is fit, he’s also supposedly leaving Arsenal as he was told he wouldn’t be starting, I’m sure he wants to go somewhere that he has a chance to start all the time(when fit)

If any tiny man is getting a midfielder role in the team next season please dear gods let it be Gomes,he is a future England star give him a small role not a starting one and leave dreck like jackie boy to the minnows.

He'd be better off going back to Bournemouth and playing week in week out, reckon thats probably around his level.

Nani is 31!!! God, I thought he must be in mid to late 30s to not make the Portuguese squad!!!

Was there ever united player more capable of having you tear your hear out?

That 5-4 defeat to Chelsea in the league cup summed him up. Sublime at Times and absolutely awful liability at others.

I can see Gomes as developing into more of a left winger due to his height.

Looking at the penalty in tonight's game it's probably for the best Smalling didn't go to the WC as he'd definitely be giving away penalties at every corner :p

I'd assume the pint sized midfielder role will be Fred's anyway tbh.

Chatter in Italy of Juventus officials in England to talk about Darmian and Martial, with us wanting Sandro, Manduzukic and Khedira coming our way.

That’s just too many players to be true. I mean has anything ever happened like that? 5 transfers between 2 clubs in one window.

I'd take Sandro no bother but think other two especially Mandukic have had better days.

He looked awful for Croatia early on.

We could do with a back up to Lukaku. So far the two options floated have been Mandy or Arnautovic, who West Ham want 50m for.

If Mandy and Khiedira would come in as experienced squad players, coupled with Sandro, in a swap for Martial and Darmian, I'd be happy wit the adjusted squad balance.

Something about that deal just doesn't sit right with me.

Even if it was realistic we be getting two players near end there career's or at least past there prime. They be getting a player who could potentially be amazing for thrm and an Italian born player who could be more suited to playing in his own country.

(This is all presuming that the story isn't bs which it probably is)

Reports have said Juve want sixty mil for Sandro which wouldn't be far off what we want for Martial, I reckon. I wouldn't be at all shocked if there was the thoughts of a straight swap there.

Darmian has barely played for a year, so getting a bag of crisps for him would be a miracle. If he wasn't Italian, Juve would have zero interest in him. They want him cause he's home grown, not cause he's going to be a starter for them...

One way or another if Martial leaves further outside the Premier league he goes the better.

I can see him doing quite well at Juventus fresh start etc. Once we get best possible deal for him seeing as he has potential and lot years ahead of him.

The Express claim that Chelsea and Spurs want Martial. The Spurs thing has been doing the rounds for a while.
The Mirror say that United have put a £75 million valuation on him.
