Recommended Freesat installer?

    Hi all,

    I'm considering getting Freesat and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for Freesat installers in Limerick city?

    I was looking around the local area at existing installs and they seem to vary quite a bit in quality so thought I'd ask here to see who comes recommended. :)

    You could sign up for sky on there basic plan for 12 months then after that you keep dish & receiver they set it up for free.ITs cheap at the moment to sign up might be cheaper than getting freesat you will have the free channels after your year is up.

    All new sky installs are the Sky q box which uses a hybrid lnb .....the lnb would need to be changed for Freesat

    The 6 output hybrid LNB would be OK for Freesat or other legacy receivers but the standard SkyQ install is a 2 output wideband LNB which is not compatible with Freesat/FTA. The hybrid LNB has to be requested.

    I am aware of them have installed loads of them, I am making the statement as anyone who signs up for Sky and doesnt have a dish in place will only get the standard Sky Q two output lnb...so either way as my original statement the lnb would need replacing..
