Looking to see if anyone has any experience with this issue.
Bought a Zanussi dishwasher in Dec. '16.  Lately, when a cycle is started it cuts out after a few minutes.  It has a timer display and that goes off and the cycle stops.  If I open the door and close it the cycle resumes.  I noticed too if I give the door a firm push/pull without opening it the display flickers.  I was quoted €75 for a callout by the manufacture, I don't have it spare so I thought maybe it's something easily fixed.  I've checked the filter and hose at the back and all look fine.  When the cycle resumes it goes through the full cycle and empties with no problem so I don't think there's an issue with the pump.  It doesn't always happen just every couple of washes.

Sounds as though the door latch mechanism may be slightly out of adjustment and preventing the micro switch from staying closed circuit when the door is closed. if it is integrated the d/w is too far recessed in the kitchen unit and causing the problem

It's not an integrated d/w.  I've had a look at the door latch mechanism and there doesn't seem to be any issues as far as I can see but I'm no expert.
