I'm a big fan of stir fries, soups and stews and I find the regular Knorr/Aldi stocks are fine but they aren't as nice as I believe a good stock can be. What would you guys recommend?

If I don't have homemade, I use Knor stockpots.
More expensive than cubes but very good quality, imo.

I use red Oxo for beef, and Just Bouillon chicken stock cubes for everything else.

I find Knorr stock pots a bit greasy. I'm a firm fan of OXO but that's just down to the flavours that I love from childhood.

If you want something like real stock - take the time & make real stock.
