I remember years ago a rumour went around that some of them accidentally fermented so me and my mates bought a load of them to try and get scuttered. Didn't work though. So we just went to the pub.

There was the other rumour that if you got the number "10" next to the name you'd get a free one. I think the shop on the corner exacerbated this too by giving them away if they saw a 10. Mostly due to 25 kids buying them for one kid to get the 10!

My fancy version of them is the Calippo, slightly thawed out. At the moment, I've 3 flavours in my freezer; lemon, lime, and cola.
You have to work the shaft a lot more with a Callipo.

I remember hearing that too. I'm fairly sure it's true. Unless it isn't, in which case it's definitely false.

The proper ones in corner shops etc. are slightly different from the ones in Tesco.

Amazon sell boxes of the "real" ones.

Local shop here sells those boxes for a tenner!!!

    80 in each box

Got 2 at the beginning of summer, will last till next summer.

Dya remember the dodgier corner shops would happily sell them unfrozen, having only just gone in the freezer? It would be like drinking Toilet Duck.
Yeah some places gave you a choice, soft one or a hard one, softies were nice but lasted 10 seconds. give me a hard one any day, lob it in there boss

These days, with all this politically correct health and safety nonsense, they're probably not allowed to use nuclear waste.

The nuclear waste is fine it's the clothes dye thats banned.

You can make them easily at home yourself, all you need is water, orange squash, and a comdom.

    God they were horrible things.

I can feel my teeth getting sensitive just thinking about them.

They usually tasted shyte because half the flavour was your own blood.

I didn't really like them but they were the cheapest thing going. Reminds me of the local shop which operated from a shipping container. You can do sexy things with a mr freeze.

I do believe I can recall when you could get one for 2p which is something I'd rather wasn't the case.

Had a big feed of spuds today for the dinner and fancied having a mr freeze for the sweet as an old treat.hadnt one in years.
Tried 2 different shops.couldnt leave a hand on one. The woman in the shop said there isn’t a mr freeze to be got in the country.they are on back order.boll1x to it anyway.

There were boxes of them in Tesco last week.

    Quick tip:

    Make a cup of Tae,
Pour it into an ice cube tray,
Stick a cocktail stick in each cube section,
Put in freezer for a couple of hours,
Once frozen they are ready for consumption.

    We call them "Mr. Tae"
