Arlo Q down to £99 on Amazon. Cheapest its been.

I have one and have had connection problems with it but am tempted to get another one now for the kitchen.

Was returning the first one to Amazon as I couldnt get it to connect but finally got it sorted. I think I`m being foolish going for another one but hey..

Best way to get started is with a Bidge and some lights that you can switch on/off with an app from your phone, PC and also voice with aleaxa or Siri if you are with an iPhone, you can also control while away from the house. You can get a dimmer switch to switch on/off from it, you could use something like the Philips Hue Dimmer UK Light Switch Adaptor to cover your existing light switch to place you dimmer switch.

You need a Hue Hub, which you connect to your broadband. You can usually pick up starter packs that include both the hub hub and a few bulbs where the Hue Hub is basically free. If not, Hue Hubs can often be picked up on adverts, etc. for a good price.

Edit: Beaten to it by nava :)

    Big time!!

I'm at the point now where I'm buying for my mams house!! as I've no more need for more bulbs/dimmers/sensors...

...yet I still find myself looking every few days on Amazon to see what the latest prices are, hence posting them here all the time!

Whatever you do, dont buy a hub on its own, get one (effectively free) with starter kit.

Keep an eye on amazon as last week a 3 colour bulb starter kit was only £100, so basically £33 a bulb plus a free hub.

3 for 2 on hue on Amazon UK 11/6 to 24/6. Just grabbed 3 dimmers for £40.

Need 3 colour E27s for front bulkheads. 3 E14 Ambience for kitchen. All deals are way better value buying twin packs. Head is wrecked from the maths.

Google Store newsletter says there's £15 off the Google Home Mini until 21st June
When I follow the link it only gives £10 off (was £49 now £39) and checkout button errors out, but hopefully they're fixing the issue and it's really £15 off, but either way a good deal :)

Picked a second one up this evening got the 15 off
