    That was not a maul.

But anyway, imagine being a prop and being held up by a back.

It definitely was no maul...knee on the ground before the ref called maul.
    Awful decision.

Terrible call, clearly had at the very least one knee to ground almost imediatley.

Yeah was weird, ref called maul when his knees were on the deck...

Are they players from the French?

    New Zealand are terrifying

That should be penalty for illegal offside, just like in the final Lions test. Maybe the law got changed that day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,475 ✭✭✭kuang1

    Yup...wrong call.

Am I seeing things here? Are the might all blacks actually getting penalised?

    :pac:

Not being given penalties they should be, then constantly unfairly penalised. Business as usual :pac:

    Obstruction. Had to be.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Looking forward to hearing how the obstruction law doesn't exist and how NZ have been robbed again!

That'll be chalked off but the NZ support lines are a thing of beauty.

    Obstruction. Had to be.

Devon Toner the absolute wizard would have gotten away with that.

Waiting for the calls for French yellow for repeated infringement. Anyone? :D

Ouch. Not following the play book - France will struggle from here though you'd imagine.

Still the All Blacks to win and only question is by how much.

Do you ever watch the rugby, or is it just the referees? :pac:

France have conceded 3 penalties and one further advantage. New Zealand have conceded 7

France marginally ahead on the scoreboard but NZ way ahead on the field. They just look so dangerous. Only a matter of time now before the dam breaks.

What a goalline stand from the French.

Aaron Smith is an insufferable whinger. Cost him 10m already. He was lucky not to have his penalty overturned there before half time for crying at the referee to get to the mark quicker.

The most shocking thing I've taken from this game so far is that Autralasians prounounce "Nissan" as "Nee-Sawn". Disgusting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,087 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

He's made a few errors (no more than some players) but I'm impressed by the way the ref is handling the game

France seem to have a good scrum.
That black LH reminds me of a young Cian Healy, good prospect.

    Thomas looking very dangerous again.

    He just has that mush...

That being said, in over two decades watching rugby there is still no sound more annoying than Sean Fitzpatrick's accent. Drives me up the wall.
