Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Camera work is shocking.

SA look very very poor so far

Not wanting could kick up a hornets nest, but what's the current selection policy for the boks?

I'm genuinely ignorant on the subject

England aren't even having to work hard for it.

    This is becoming embarrassing

All very impressive, but are England tactically actually doing much different to their 6N performances?

Think we was lucky to not get a yellow card if he had hit DeClerk

    Crappy defense vs crappy defense

    Great entertainment

De Klerk is a fabulous player. Dragging SA back into this.

This is cheering me up no end.

De Klerk is running the game here. His passing accuracy isn't brillant but it's quick and the speed in general with which he is running things here is impressive.

The pace DeKlerk plays at is kind of absurd

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

South Africa just need to keep attacking May and Daly. Neither can defend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,814 ✭✭✭✭bilston

De Klerk and Itoje are having a right old ding dong. You'd think there would be only one winner, but in this case you'd be wrong! This is one for the little guy

    Isiekwe subbed already.

    Injured?

I don't get the fuss at all.

Delighted to see SA ahead now, so many cynical penalties from England in the last 10 mins, they play with carte blanche when the other team have advantage.

Robshaw is like the Gil of Rugby.

Aaaah. SA with their ex-pats recalled are going to be a serious proposition in 2019. With the altitude and the heat, I think England will wilt.

    Nope.

So Sir Clive, tell us how this will affect England’s World Cup chances?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,457 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

I don't think I've ever seen a first half of rugby like that before!

Ooft, brutal stuff. What guff will Barnes and Sky try to feed us about him.

That was a first half of 2 halves.

Nearly stopped watching after the first 20 but glad I stuck it out. Hoping SA can keep going and win this.

I think Eddie is desperate to slow some ball, the England back row has been hopeless.

    I really don't rate Robshaw.

Is this going to be one of those games that’s a great high scoring first half and then a subdued conservative second half? I hope not.

Just saw the Brown try, bloody hell, schoolboy stuff in defense. You'd be running laps and tackling drills in training following that if that was you in a game situation.

I reckon the altitude could cause England a lot of trouble in the final quarter.

Du Toit used to have a very Dolph Lundgren, Universal Soldier intimidating look when he first broke on the scene. No he looks like Flash Gordon.

That must be Itoje's 6th/7th penalty alone?

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Itoje stinking the place out today

And the award for most ambitious but rubbish offload goes to.........

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

That scrum went backwards very, very fast. Completely minced.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Pollard was the first to the ball after it hit the post, very poor “chase” from the rest of his teammates
