Watched Super Dark Times, a thriller set in the mid-nineties about two teenage friends who are involved in a tragic accident and how each of them deals with the guilt, fear and paranoia that come in the aftermath. Great performances from the main cast and a simmering tension flows through the movie that erupts in the final act. The ending felt slightly ambiguous or left certain things hanging in the air when I finished watching it last night but it makes more sense to me when I think back on it this morning. Well worth a watch.

I binge watched the two seasons of "Friday Night Dinner" over the weekend. I honestly thought it was absolutely hilarious, a little bit repetitive but in an endearing way. Anyone who enjoyed the Inbetweeners will be a fan. It was an easy watch, and laugh out loud funny.
I must catch up with season 3, 4, 5 and 6 on the Channel 4 player. Annoying that they aren't all on Netflix.

I watched The Great Train Robbery (the Sean Connery one) the other night and found it to be a perfectly easy way to pass an hour and forty minutes, plus it gets bonus points for the prominence of Heuston Station where they did a lot of filming.

Another vote for "The Edge of Seventeen", very enjoyable film that everyone can relate to their teen years in some way.
The lead was so self-centred that I almost couldn't enjoy it tbh. First coming of age movie I think I've ever watched where I identified more with everyone around the protagonist. Does this mean I'm getting old?!

Am recuperating from injury so needed binge material. Never saw Poldark...until 4 days ago. Oh. My. Word! Stand back, ladies. Hold my ripped bodice... (Swoons)

Predictable and enjoyable, love Woody's part. Also pierce brosnan and Susan sarandon star in the greatest, it's probably more interesting to watch the rose of Tralee

One of my favourite series on Netflix. It's a slow burner of a series though - it's mainly about the interviews the FBI did with serial killers to create the Behavioural Science Unit and the science of criminal profiling. It's not going to go all out guns blazing at any point.

Mindhunter was excellent, you kind of need to get used to character that Sam Worthington is playing and figure out that he's not your run of the mill hero.

Think you're mixing you based on real life crime series up

Jaysus I am, I'm thinking about Manhunt!

Mindhunter was also excellent though :) I think I watched both shows back to back as well.

There was no need for S2, there should be no need for this.

Nope. It’s on Sky Box sets if you have that.

Good shout. Really enjoyed this, but I watched it after work when I was really tired I have so many questions my head is fried. Needs a rewatch with a clearer head!

Strange to see it come back for a third season considering all the backlash its being garning.

This video spells out everything I found wrong with the first season and he mentions it dont get a whole lot better for season 2 although I enjoyed the first enough.

Has anyone watched the 2nd season yet?

    No, it's about time travel....

I don't know if it's on the UK one, but would recommend Atlanta, it's one of the best shows on TV.

Yes, it's awful....once I started it I had to finish it.
I'm going to add spoilers here -
the way that they take some scenes from S1 and extend them, or re-shoot to include an extra bit of story to fit the narrative of S2
    is f*cking terribly done.

It should be the kind of thing I love, but I just couldn't get into it.

I watched AlphaGo last night - it's a documentary about a group of computer programmers who design software to play the best player in the world at the Chinese boardgame Go.

    It's very interesting I thought.
