, "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]O'Donnel is/was are most talented scrum half of last few years. If i'm right he tore up the schools cup.

This is a bit much tbh. He was good behind a great pack and on the best team... He did not tear up the SC from what I saw of it.

Likewise I think there is a bit of blowing about Lowry which is OTT. Again, he was always on the front foot etc.

Curtis is considerably bigger. Sure Curtis was a basher for u20 recently. No way that is happening with Lowry.

A hell of a name! Were his parents involved in print media?

Gee's give us something to look forward to! O'Donnel potentially better than what we have? saying that anyone seen much of Curtis's we brother aint he a scrum half?
Curtis definitely hits above his weight! they'll be our Giteau/Williams.

The strength of that Inst team was its backline

9 10 13 15 were good but tearing up the schools cup is OTT.

They had a good v mobile pack. Usual RBAI arrangement of big back row and big 13.

Turned defence into attack v quickly. Fwds could pass.

9 was pretty good as well!

I think you're downplaying that Inst team. The 2017 team were vastly superior to everyone else in Ulster and IIRC even put 40 points on St Michaels.

Hume was a lot more than 'a big 13' in that Inst team.

Hume & Stewart given starts for U20’s.

Agnew & Dunleavy kept. Dunleavy out of team.

Worth a watch tomorrow to see our future! Agnew has been very good!

IRFU can be thanked for blocking a move for Jantjies...

    I did say 9.

Btw Aaron Sexton ran a legal 10.53 for 100m in Irish Schools today. Still 17.

    UR are big fans.

What’s his rugby like? Been lacking pace for ages!

Aaron Sexton ran a legal 10.53 yesterday at Irish Schools. UR will be after him after school 2019. Is there anyone faster currently playing in 15's world rugby?

UR have him schools player of the year. Not sure about that but.. Played Irish clubs and schools last year and schools this year. Getting way better. Chat of him getting a run out for A's next year in Upper 6th.

Looks like Sopers joining as assistant coach

Know very little of him aside from it being a very unusual profile of person to hire as an assistant coach to the senior provincial side.

I assume he's well regarded by those in Ulster Rugby who have worked with him previously.

Has a very good reputation amongst fellow coaches, from chats I've had. But Ulster need a LOT more than quality coaches. They've had them before.

I think it's great. I look forward to seeing how UR do.

    Big loss for RBAI.

Interesting story in France regarding Pienaar and Steyn.

    http://www.midilibre.fr/2018/06/03/rugby-montpellier-pienaar-l-autre-raison-d-une-finale-ratee,1680794.php

Seems Pienaar's family moved the day of the Top 14 final back to Belfast. Interestingly another 10/centre's family have upsticks to move to Ireland (if google translate is correct), Could Francois Steyn be our new signing?

That article seems to suggest Pienaar will return to Ulster as a coach after his Montpellier contract, that's great news.

It's the bit about both Pienaar & Steyn moving their families to Ireland, can't figure out if thats poor journalism or a poor translation. Pienaar returns as a coach with Steyn as our 10/centre back up?

Well according to the article, Steyn and Pienaar are now living together in a 'little house', Sounds cosy. :)

But that would also mean that Steyn is staying for another season like Pienaar.

On hind sight I think you're right sadly, we could dream I guess!

Had heard before that Pienaar's family didn't really take to France and missed Belfast.

That's the other side of weird. It's a good way down the road to bizarre.

If they can understand Belfast and speak English and Afrikaans, French should be a doddle. :)
