Motor starter

    If I accidentally start the engine while engine is already running, will it damage the starter. Car is 2005 Honda Accord petrol, 2 litre.

    Letting it happen as a one off is unlikely to have done any lasting damage. If it did you'd know about it the next time you want to start the car. If it starts ok now, you're grand.

    Thanks for your reply. Had no problem starting again after about 2 hours.
