Happens most of the time due to moisture around the charging area. Just Bury it with rice and it should be dry after a few hours.

Bite down on a cotton tip and carefully slot it inside. Slow side-to-side motion and remove. Use a cocktail stick after if necessary in case of any dirt build up but be careful not to damage any coils etc inside. Bag of rice overnight and voila. Had to do this on my old S7 and worked perfect since.

    Random one folks..

Can I connect 2 Bluetooth devices to my S7 at one time?? As in my fitbit and wireless headphones for the gym..

I have in the past had a smartwatch and a fitness tracker connected at the same time. Whether they both still had full functionality I can't remember but they definitely connected at the same time.

Every day I have my polar watch, Bluetooth headset and truck radio connected at the same time.

Did you try stick it in a bag with a few dehumidifier sachets or rice etc.?

Happened me before on old my S7 Edge and also on my friends S7. Pain in the hole but it does happen.

Tried a few of the suggestions on here and powered phone off for an hour yesterday and it charged fine after that. Unplugged charger and tried again and stupid error popped up again.

So whatever phantom moisture that's apparently causing this managed to go away and somehow magically return on the hottest day of the year when the phone was nowhere near water.

Reeks of software issue or dodgy detector to me.

Could it be an issue with your cable?

Over the last week my S7E has started vibrating randomly. Any ideas what might be causing it or how to sort it out?

Make sure you have smart alert turned off. Also go into settings and search "notification reminder" and make sure that's off too.

Hi all, someone here might be able to help me out.

Dropped my s7 yesterday, and screen now totally unresponsive. Have insurance, but am keen to transfer some data to laptop before phone dies completely.

When I plug it into laptop I can't do anything as it relies on me accepting on phone.

    Any ideas?

Hopefully it'll help my battery which is nothing short of appalling. Charge overnight to 100%, charge again at work to about 80% and it's flat again by bedtime

Oreo downloading for me now on Eir.

Still waiting for it to show up for me on eir. My s7 edge is sim free and on a sim only package, could that be slowing things up?

Big improvement in my battery. Charged to full around 1.30pm and it's at 73% now. Usage probably a little less than usual but even at that I can see the improvement.

I've just finally got around to getting a microsd card for my S7 Edge

Stuck it in to the phone and there is basically no options now on Oreo for using it except for storing pictures taken by the camera

Adoptable storage is gone, and I can't seem to move any apps to external storage.

What's the point of an sd card slot if it can't be used to move apps to it or even as extra storage for apps

Been like that for me since I bought it. Can only use it for photos

Waste of money me getting a 128gb card so. Guess I'll just never have to delete a picture I ever take

I was definitely able to use it to store things like my spotify and netflix cache, so I could download all that content.

go into settings > apps > click the app you want > Storage and move to SD card. You can't do it for all of them but some of them should transfer.
