Anyone know if its any better than Series 4, was disappointed with that. Although of course it did have its excellent moments.
    More of the same IMO.

Such a shame, rewatching AD at the moment before the new season and 1-3 absolute gold.

Really feels like it should have stayed dead.

Also seems like it's only 8 episodes have gone up for Arrested Development and only 6 for Kimmy Schmidt, not really a fan of this strategy tbh

Yep, they've starting splitting seasons in half and putting rest on later in the year.

If they keep at this, binge watching could be a thing of the past.

Don't get carried away. They're only doing this for Emmy nominations, and the cutoff date.

Are you referring to the pseudo-science documentary the was called harmful by most medical bodies? It's full of the same kind of ideas that people who think hemp oil cures cancer will advocate.

The first thing a doctor should ask a sick person is what are you eating and drinking. Give advice on natural remedies and lifestyle choices. NOT whip out the prescription pad and enrich the pharmaceutical industry. One of the many good points in this documentary.

2 episodes into Money Heist and loving it so far!

Also almost finished The Sinner, and even though it’s quite silly, it’s fairly compelling viewing.

Any 'natural' product/plant/substance etc that has real medicinal properties is likely to already be in use by the pharma industry.

Most other 'cures' that people talk about are useless.

I know if I'm sick, I'd go with whatever advice my GP or specialist gives me.

These types of documentaries are dangerous, they are generally championed by uneducated and misinformed people who think that diet can cure cancer. I recently saw someone advocating to a woman whose child has cancer to stop chemotherapy and instead get hemp oil and change the diet as that will cure their kid. It's dangerous stuff and should be called out for what it is.

highly recommend "The defiant ones" for anyone with any interest in music.
Beautifully produced it has to be one of the best documentaries ive seen.

I finished the rain....it was alright...I liked the idea better than the execution and it was all a bit predictable, I see already announced a season 2.

Last night I watched 'Wish Upon' which I highly recommend...

    Wish Upon - 3/10

Hilariously bad from beginning to end. Some of the plot contrivances are unbelievably shoddy. The death scenes are laughable and the dialogue is forced and awkward.

The whole 'be careful what you wish for' thing has been done to death already and this brings nothing new to the table. I'm a fan of the 90's schlock classic Wishmaster, which did this whole thing so much better.

It's a terrible film with some of the worst editing I've ever seen. They clearly had no idea where certain scenes should go and certain cuts are so incredibly abrupt.

Hard to believe that this was intended as a straight faced teen horror film. It could easily have been a comedy. The ending in particular got a huge belly laugh and a couple of rewinds.

Queen of the South Season 2 added today oh and a South Korean reality show staring a 'celebrity couple' running a bed and breakfast

Only once adequately armed with alcoholic beverages of your choice, by the sound of it.

Finished The Sinner. I thought some bits were a bit daft, but overall it was very gripping and Biel was surprisingly impressive.
The ending could have been better. I thought
it was going to be Cora’s parents who held her captive for all those months, as a way of making her repent for her sister dying. I don’t buy it that their parents wouldn’t have alerted anyone to the fact that her two children were missing and presumably dead.

    Could have done without
    the detective’s sex fetish.
A bit like The Night Of in that respect, and all the unnecessary focus on John Turturro’s itchy feet.

Just starting episode 3 of Safe. It’s a good one so far, even that Six Feet Under actor’s English accent is convincing.

Yikes Safe has not got particularly good reviews here.I really enjoyed it overall. It kept me engaged although the big reveal re the motive for the murder was very disappointing.I was expecting something more substantial.

4 episodes into Money Heist and absolutely loving it. Kinda reminds me of season 1 of Prison Break. It's fab.

    Designated Survivor now cancelled

Disappointing to hear. I just finished season 1. Was difficult watching the first 4-5 episodes but it really picks up after that if you have the patience to get through the early episodes.

See this is the thing I don't understand.

I wouldn't last that long if I wasn't enjoying a show, there is just too much stuff out there to stick with a bad show.

I started DS, and after first episode decided it wasn't for me. I thought it was awful.
