If we draw London will it be Ruislip? Thought they only got one game a year

Presume we'll play them in Castlebar?

Doubt the Connacht Council will fund another outing to Ruislip if it comes from their coffers.

According to Ed mcgreal amongst others it would be Ruislip

Yea, London have hosted qualifier games in the past.

It's only if they win a Connacht game that they usually travel for the next fixture, based on the fact that their first game is always at home.

    Happy enough with that.

Realistically speaking we should come through with minimum fuss.

Well that's exactly what the doctor ordered. barring a miracle it should be a facile win

Given the potential large amount of games in short succession ahead you would feel this is an optimum time to give Durcan and Hanley a start and see what they can do. Do we really need to be starting Andy and AOS here?

Nice handy drive down the motorway.

    Hope it's on the Saturday.

Based on the Galway game I think AOS needs all the minutes he can get

Probably not but I'd be surprised if they didn't.

I thought AOS worked very hard against Galway

To win an All Ireland Mayo will have to play at least 10 games. Limerick are in absolute disarray it's an optimum time to give new lads game time and rest up some of the key players that will be needed later in the season

They say it took 34 men to stop him 4 years ago.

I see Limerick are 10/1 to beat us. That says it all.

More than likely. Limerick v Waterford in hurling on the Sunday at 2pm so they are not going to put us on at 12 for a double header

Is he not in jail in Kiev after going for Ronaldo at the end of the game on Saturday night:D

will have to be the saturday, they wont be able to accommodate the season ticket holders in mackey stand if its a double header with the hurling on the sunday.

Love to see that game too,the Decies appear to be struggling at the moment with both form and injuries whilst the Treaty county are definitely on the up with their under 21 win and Na Piarsaigh's exploits BUT I quite enjoy the qualifier games on the Saturday afternoons/evenings.:)

    Wont/cant happen.
The minor hurling is the same format as the senior now so Limerick play Waterford also in the curtainraiser. Its U17 now so doesn't affect the Leaving Cert as much anymore. Working well so far.
Limerick/Mayo will be Saturday, probably at 5pm.

Its possible that it might be played in Newcastlewest as any support Limerick football has is based in the West/county, virtually zero support in the city.
Limerick play some league games there.

I'd love it if it were in Newcastle West, only up the road for me.

But there would not be enough space for the Mayo season tickets in Newcastle West.

    Will have to be Limerick.
