What will the No camp do if it goes through on Friday? Will they take to the streets and bring down the economy?
they might realise they were wrong and it was gods will that the amendment passed and then go and pray for hours till they receive an update from the bearded sky fairy.

Every time Ronan talks, a No voter changes his/her mind ;)

Most people would like to know what they're voting for more than anything else. Not happening with that laughable "draft" legislation.

We are voting to repeal the 8th.

I really find the majority of people advocating "No" to be very dislikeable characters as shown on this panel tonight.

Looks like Maria Steen is even embarrassed by Ronan Mullen.

Divorces and gay marriages started from a baseline of 0 though. Abortions still happen here, so won't rise exponentially like the other two.
There's 25 a year so you only have to get to 250 for it to rise exponentially. :D

I often criticise Kenny for talking over guests and finishing their point but he's taking no **** here literally turned his back on Steen

Colm o Gorman ? I don't like him that much either.

Already seems to be a better debate than last night.

Maria doing the NO side proud.

    Pat being very antagonistic.

How, by lying? People can see through her stuff.

No campaign seem to forget that we all have the internet to look things up.

The yes vote will allow you to choose whether if you want to carry or not....

We are voting to repeal the 8th.
Thanks for telling us nothing. Yawn.
We are voting against the 8th. What are we voting for to replace it?

Why are the "no" side arguing that abortions that abortions will increase.

Of course it will, what do they expect?

Gay marriage rates sky rocketed after the last referendum.

Divorces increased hugely in the 90s.

    Stupid argument.

    It's a bit odd really :
Countries where abortion is illegal have slightly higher abortion rates than countries where the procedures are legal, the research found

All the stories of FFA are dreadfully sad. But what gets me with the No side who are talking about their babies is that even if you repeal the 8th, you can still carry that baby to term. People can still choose to carry the sick baby to term, or, they can choose to induce early or abort. Repealing the 8th does not mean that they are going to force you to have an abortion if your baby is diagnosed with a FFA.

It's still logical that abortion rates here will increase as people who travel abroad will have their abortion here.

Today, abortions are highly restricted and low. The numbers are bound to increase when made legal.

We should have had a referendum when condoms were made illegal in 1935 to allow them to be used, would have prevented a lot of unwanted children being born.

Why the hell are any side clapping ? FFS Stop clapping. I mean that for both sides btw. They could have had more people on the podiums to have a better representatives of all sides.

I'm after spotting someone on Facebook who had their cover photo as "Don't give your constitutional power to politicians". I think someone better call the newspapers because here we were thinking we were voting on the 8th, but this person has sussed out that we are actually voting to give politicians the power to change the constitution without referendum.

Jeff Rudd? There's a whole thread about him on boards.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra
I'm raptured by the joy of it all

This argument has been killed a million times now. Why should you vote for people to be allowed to choose to do things you think are wrong? It makes no logical sense.

No camp using up all their credits early, Pat is letting them have all the rope they want to hang themselves.

You are not voting for that.

You are voting to repeal it or not.

    It will not be replaced.

When repealed then the way will be cleared for the Oireachtas to legislate on abortion.
