    Hi there,

Not sure where to post this so mods feel free to move. I graduated in October with a second class honours joint majoring in Psychology and English. I have a wide range of experience with previous jobs, and am looking to get a permanent job where I can start to put away a bit of money. I intend to do my masters in psychology, but part time.

Does anyone have any ideas of areas I could look into for jobs?

    Here is a potential option:

    1. Get your English and Psychology degree.
    2. Get a postgraduate education qualification (I think it's 18 months) so you're a qualified teacher.
    3. Go to somewhere like Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea or Japan, and work as a fully qualified English teacher. You can make a lot of money doing this. I know a guy making roughly EUR 10k a month doing this. He's in his mid 20s.

He works part-time for one of the international schools, but he makes the money from private lessons on the side.

Basically rich Chinese parents will pay almost anything to give their kids an advantage.

To get a job in an international school you usually need a real education qualification.

Ok so a bachelor's degree would be no good?

I'm not 100% sure, but the two guys I knew working in one of these schools both had a teaching qualification (not TEFL).
