The one point I dislike from peader using the socio economic reasons. That's a general election point scoring issue. That's poor form IMO.

I have no idea what Miriam's position is but she's crossing the line into badgering Harris now while the other fella is let talk on

    The world has moved on:

Arulkumaran has also clarified claims around Savita’s death, saying that the Eighth Amendment was a major factor. He refuted claims that sepsis was the only cause of her death, as has been claimed by some during the course of the referendum debate.

If Arulkumaran says jump we should all ask how high. Some random fella flown here and we all do as he says.

Simon Harris is well schooled and highly intelligent here.

    He's winning this easily.

Burn for Harris there to be fair.

So that everyone knows. Amnesty International is backing YES. I stopped my 10 year plus monthly donation to them when I realised.

    Spread the word no side.

Well they campaign for human rights, what did you expect? That has been their position for a very long time.

People who leave the country for abortions obviously aren't in danger health wise, therefore they are social abortions / abortions on demand.

Obviously? Are you there in the airport and at the ferry taking notes?
It's arguably worse to kill an unborn child at 11 weeks.

So you believe girls and women should be forced to carry their rapist's baby? If your wife was raped and ended up pregnant, would you be happy watching her belly grow with her rapist's baby inside of her? Would you be happy raising her rapist's baby?

    Why are you here then?

Such emotive language from Peadar “another human being can take the life of a child”
    Orrrrrr
The woman in which a fetus is gestating can decide she no longer wants to continue the pregnancy

A very big claim to say people in Ireland don't want change, he'll eat those words on Friday.

Harris seems to only have the rape case argument which is a small percentage.

    Not doing well at all.

To be fair I think both speakers are putting their points across well. The usual general election debates have martin doing alright and the rest poorly, these two are a step up in purely debating terms.

Harris can deliver a good point but his trademark smarmy style does him no favours.

Harris is wiping the floor with Tobin here. If it's a yes on Friday then this could be the making of his political career.

    Nice ending from Harris there.

    Deserved a mic drop.

    No side falling apart?

Interesting thing I heard this today, was talking to somebody involved in yes campaign, they said they were involved in 2015 ref too.

After the polls they showed up to the count centre and there was no sign of any of the no side, the no side knew at that stage they had lost so they didn't bother showing to keep tabs on the vote outcome.

First time I've ever seen even a hint of colour in Simon's face. Can't do a proper tie knot though.

Frankly, I feel like the No side is ignoring the fact that women are forced to travel for abortion and that somehow lives are saved by not allowing women to go through the whole harrowing experience on home soil.

    But that's just me.

Mary Higgins should be made explain why many countries with abortion have a higher maternal death rate.

No supporters trying to clap everything in the audience - they want the Claire Byrne free for all because their arguments don't stand on their own two feet.
