I havnt seen nor heard about the video DarkScar has mentioned but i think the main point he was trying to get accross is that its not only one side that are taking part in these "rough campaigning strategies" as id like to call them!
Dont pretend its only No siders who are the rough ones..dont be so cynical..there are yes campaigners out there too who are far from courteous.

Im a fully qualified lawyer (albeit non practising). So yeah I do think I can comment on legislation. I also just said your interpretation is an opinion (as in not substantiated fact).
Your opinion is also... an opinion. Gee whizz, thanks for that sermon Captain Obvious.
So, you're not a gerontologist... did you have an opinion on the minimum age for our President? Are you qualified in EU law, or did you abstain from referendum on EU matters?

Whats's the deal with the one saying she was run off the road by a LoveBoth Audi is there a video or just her word?

I laughed at that one. Audi driver drives like Audi driver... with a No sign.

Looks like the Yes Voter driver took the photo too. As you do while driving.

Sorry no, all said things can be gained from additional activity.

If someone's primary motivation for intercourse is pleasure... there's a plethora of other ways to gain that without creating and involving a third party

    Stop making excuses

Anyone who has a good threesome would not agree.

I don’t think anyone is claiming that it’s just the no side. In fact, when a save the 8th campaigner knocked on my door it was a fairly pleasant exchange. But you have to admit that when it comes to aggressive, underhanded tactics the no side are the worse of the two.

Obviously it's not whatever you're fantasizing about as the video I'm referring to showed an assault on a guy putting up a no poster, now being investigated by Gardai.

It is the same one and it involves declan ganleys brother...assault? He tried to shove a ladder on your man and he stood his ground.. You are having a laugh lol

If you have time ring your council to check, bring photo id and something with your current address(bills etc) to prove who and where you are. That is usually all they ask for.

It turns out the website is very picky about the information you enter. I put in less detailed address and found myself.

Just checked there, and it doesn't look like i'm registered. God damn it :(

My own fault...hopefully Yes wins comfortably and it won't make any difference.

Loads of people have been having problems getting their names to show up, try a few less or more details and fodas and whatnot if you have any in your name.

It's hardly 'assaulted with a ladder'

I said don't engage in sexual intercourse ie vaginal sex. I never mentioned anything else... and I only said it in the context of abortion for convience and that people abstain from that act specifically if they don't want to get pregnant... because that is the primary function of sexual intercourse... procreation

I never mentioned anything else...and for some reason my words have been twisted every which way
It's not the primary reason for intercourse, its there for bonding, pleasure etc. Not everyone wants to have anal sex, blowjobs etc even then you can get pregnant because no contraception is 100% all it takes is one little bugger.
You want to control people's lives when you say "don't engage in sexual intercourse ie vaginal sex." you want to impose your values on other people. How would you feel if I forced my values on you.
I see in another post you want to have a kid with your partner. Now how would you like it if we told you you can't have children because of your health, you views, your religion, because you used contraception when the church said thats against their rules. Because you didn't impregnate your wife/girlfriend every time you have sex

Hi Susie, thank you for the reply.
There is of course another scenario. My wife was adopted back in the 80's, and most likely would have been aborted if it was available. That would have deprived me of her and our current family.

Now, of course, this isn't a typical case. But I hope explains the battle I have on the issue, as I fully understand and respect the points that you raise (which have also been on my mind).

If it helps you think about it; y'know the evil UK "regime" that the no side so often decrie?
A no vote forces Irish women to use it.

Ah, nothing to actually say so time for a trolling accusation.

I couldn't find my mother on the on-line register. Tried several permutations. no luck. But she has her polling card and is fired up to vote Yes.
Cork City Council dodged a bullet there as if she had been removed Hell would have had no fury like her. Sure she's only been in the same house since about 1955. She's also been waiting for this since 1983 when she voted No.

You said it was a video of a guy being assaulted with a ladder. Any chance you'd provide this alleged video or you could, you know, just admit you lied about it?

I never said that, somebody else did. But some guy with a ladder did try to assault the bearded guy and then fell over.

Never before have I been so torn when it comes to a vote . The toughest issue because all arguments are valid . It just comes down to what you believe is morally correct.

If abortion was here back in the 80’s myself and half my friends might not be here . How many young ones will be going and aborting babies like there is no tomorrow . I know that might sound dramatic but there will be many many lives stopped before they started and it’s these lives have no voice of their own.

Then you have the other side where people really need the abortion for medical reasons or other tragic circumstances and these people need to have a choice and not shipped abroad

I don’t know what to do . My heart says one thing and my head says another .

Without a video of something happening I wouldn't take any notice of it.

How do you know it was not taken by someone in the back seat or passenger side because there is no reference point eg steering wheel. etc. I was reported to the police, why would someone report to the police for the hell of it?

Vote yes to repeal for the women’s health issues. Then lobby if you wish to, if you don’t agree with the proposed legislation.

A no vote ends this immediately. No reprieve for FFA. Women have to have a threat to their life before medical treatment. No way to deal with rape cases or any other issues.

In terms of psychological health I'm doing ok thanks.. childhood was fine thanks for the strange inquiry though

...I m just quite practical and tend not to buy into this act first ask questions later retrospective ideology thst permeates the modern mindset

    Half your friends? Really?

Look at your friends mothers, do you really think half of those women would have had an abortion if it was available?

Women don’t decide to have abortions like there’s no tomorrow just because they can, such a load of hyperbole.

How little do you think of young ones?

What mirrorwall said is spot on. If you agree with abortion in cases of rape/FFA/health risk vote yes. If you don’t agree with the proposed legislation lobby it when it gets to that point.

Yes, I've seen these and your free to make up your own mind.
The video I was looking for was the one who said they were run off the road by an Audi!
