How is he supposed to clean out the man, if his low.

That's basically what Cian Healy got banned for.

I can appreciate they don't want to give a red at this time, but I would not be surprised to see further action

Definitely, how they can't judge the first point of contact from that is a joke

He's gone off for a HIA.

Think the initial contact may have been to the shoulder, but without clear footage of contact to the head it was a yellow.

Munster re drawing the forward pass laws.

He is blessed that was only yellow. Other officials were strongly suggesting more.

How can you not definitively see the point of contact there. Its head on head. No ambiguity about it.

he used his arms, byrne's head was too low...same as slipping into a high tackle

Yeah, I'm not sure whether that's a red but he has potentially taken a player out of the game completely due to a head injury. I find it hard to square that with him staying on the pitch

And Furlong didn't even give away a penalty... funny auld game

He’s gotten away with blue murder there, that was clearly shoulder to head or best case scenario neck.

As a neutral it looked head on head to me so should have been red.

You'd better explain your thinking to JOD

There's an argument for red based on the point of contact. Clearer camera angles might have swung it that way.

JOD wasn't taken out by foul play.

There was no need for a clean out. Byrne wasn't contesting the ruck. Looked like a cheapshot.

Did Furlong strike with his head?

It wasn't spotted which is just as wrong. Doesn't change the fact that Kleyn should be red carded.
