Leinster really not playing well. They need to hold on to the ball for a bit during the start of the next half.

Should have been a penalty only, used his arms, made contact with the head.
Yellow was harsh but maybe because he dived in was the reason they gave the yellow.

It was reckless without doubt, hope he gets a hammering from the coaches at half time!

    Another awful pass.....

WTF was that!? Should we look nervously towards the skies for the Luftwaffe?

You'd better watch it again... dirty imo

Nonsense. Kleyn dived head firat over a ruck off his feet. He connected with the head if another player. Thats red card

Disappointing from a Munster viewpoint, Leinster were on top, but we're shooting ourselves in the foot with poor passing and decisions

Decent enough first half, but I would honestly fear for both of these sides against the Scarlets. Big step up required.

There's an argument for red based on the point of contact. Clearer camera angles might have swung it that way.

I think if they'd seen the last angle first they'd have sent him off.

He was anchored by the first few he saw

Leinster took a massive dump on Scarlets a few weeks ago. Think they look a bit lethargic today though

It doesn't have to be one or the other lads. They were both dangerous clean outs. Furlong dove off his feet and led with the shoulder - yellow for me. Kleyn should have seen red.

Not bad first half overall, plenty of passing and big hits and some good contestible kicks.
Only thing separating the sides was the try that came straight after a turnover that should have been penalized.
Yellow card setback for Munster but plenty time to get back into it.
Other than that Munster need to get early scores in the second half and test the fitness of the Leinster pack.

Furlong looks tired. Not having his usual impact. Would bring Porter on early. James Ryan has been mammoth again.

    Referee bottled the Kleyn offence.

What did furlong do, was it the clear out before the try? Would have liked to see that again.

Obviously nothing his fault about JOD twisting his knee cuz furlong entered the other side of the ruck, ridiculous to claim otherwise

Bang on. Touch judge had to to tell him to take another look at the last angle but he'd made up his mind already.

Double standards by some people on here is hilarious.

I saw every angle they showed repeatedly, not one of them showed head on head contact.

Kleyn looked like a red though you cannot say for 100% certain that the first point of contact was his right shoulder on Byrne's left shoulder, or head to head.

Leinster's try should have been pulled back and a YC for Furlong for a no arms clear out on Conway.

Head vs Head on someone not contesting the ruck. Kleyn can count himself lucky. The reason that Kleyn could not get anything but head was that Byrne was back from the ruck.

The refs are not biased but man they seem generally bad. Both sides playing the ball on the ground. A very well timed step into McGrath from an offside position. The ruck is a mess. Both sides seem to have copped this pretty quickly. Forward passes all over the shop.

Munster are getting lots of ball in attack. Just because they haven't used it well doesn't mean they'll keep wasting it.

Leinster need to get a score while Kleyn is in the bin.

I got the feeling that Whitehouse would have had a different decision if it was his call

It wasn't a no arms clearout, his right arm was wrapped.

Its potentially a charge, they should have looked at it. But it was not a yellow.

Kleyn on the other hand is lucky to have got a yellow card for something that Healy got banned for, I'd say Healy is raging watching it.

He was contesting the ruck and there’s no angle showing head on head. TMO said he couldn’t see a point of contact.

    Furlong clearly uses his arms

    Keatley in.

Keatley on, Leinster can afford to be a bit wreckless at the breakdown in their own half now.

The last angle shows it extremely clearly. Like blatantly clearly.

The clear out before the try looked like a penalty offence but nothing more.

JOD's leg was caught in the ruck and there's an angle that shows him react in pain when Furlong dives in. Obviously no malice there but it's the type of injury that occurs when players dive off their feet without binding - it's why the laws are there.

He hit him with the shoulder.. throwing an arm in the general direction doesn't make it a wrap
