There is, turn on the torch, hold the phone in one hand and then the fence in the other. You will get a notification if the fence is on or off.

Just wait for the high pitched scream

    Couldn't resist.
It would be a handy yoke, tell your young lad to get working on, could make a fortune from it. I'd happily pay for an app that could do that.

Ya could incorporate one into a phone case fairly handily.

I'm NOT complaining about the sun but keep giving myself mini heart attacks with the cattle stretched out in the sun!! I'd to tap one cow yesterday to wake her up and there wasn't a bother on her except she was enjoying her snooze!! I had her dead and buried walking over to her!!! And then the look I got but she is 9 months in calf so being made to move wasn't appreciated!!

Was the same here yesterday came across bull completely stretched out. Was in 2 minds about checking him out....

He was also surrounded by a dozen stretched out calves, looked like the cowpocalyps!

Maybe I’m just getting old but there only seems to be any warmth when the wind is down or your in sunny shelter.

The breeze out this morning here seems cold, not cool but cold.

It’s sunny and bright but cold to be out in. Too cold for mid May.

Local agricultural show will have no vegetable classes this year as we had no spring!

Is that earlier or later than normal?

That tells allot when folk who spend every spring growing the best of veg recognises that this year spring was a total right off.

I had one yesterday with his tongue out in a deep R.E.M. Sleep with the eyes twitching. He looked like he was having a fit!

Alarm bells should be ringing for next winter already.
Fodder reserves in the country well spun out.
    Grass growth well behind.
First cut silage late and very light.
    Maze very late going in
Straw will be scarse from late sowing

Last year saw stock being housed from August on sporadically, that’s only about 75-80 days from now. It will take a savage summer and back end to avert fodder shortages.

Not a truer word said. People also have to remember not to leave the first cut too long for it to bulk up as you have to remember the regrowth for the second cut. Leave it too long and you won't get a second cut

I'd say temperament might be a problem if you drink that stuff!
The cows don't sound too friendly.

    Milked once a day.
Early in the year for that!
