    Laurel!

I reckon this might be more straightforward than the dress thing!

why the click bait? what is "this clip" should I have heard of "this clip" , is "this clip"in any way important ?

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

If i listen to the original i can only hear yanny. If i listen to the earth vessel and alex saad versions i can hear it change from one the other as the pitch changes.

This might be an age/frequency thing?

definitely a frequency. What i hear depends on how the pitch is altered.

This angry nerd goes through the science. I find it hilarious that he insists that he can only hear Laurel at the start. High pitched I hear Laurel, regular and low pitch it's Yanny.

"Laurel" very clearly for me... but I am half deaf and quite old... and a muppet.

Anyone who claims it's saying "Yanny" is just one of those attention-seekers who will say anything to make themselves appear cool and unique.

Like that kid at school who always has some story to tell about how he went skydiving with McGyver at the weekend, conveniently while nobody else was around.

    Laurel
Yanee for me. Don't get how people can hear Laurel at all.

Is it an age thing and how your ears change?

As posted already, I'm 100% hearing "Yanny" and I'm not seeking attention.

A colleague in work also heard Yanny.

Maybe you should accept that there might be something in this that you don't understand rather than labeling people.
