Actually, i naturally have a very loud voice. Speaking softly causes me excruciating pain. Its a medical condition called katieitis.

Just throwing this out there but...

Say Nigel was a NRV as said etc.

I would not be surprised given how little info we have on good roles in the OP if Ford starts another narrative at some point and characters who are NRVs atm become awoken. Nothing to stop Nigel becoming a roled goodie then.

That said maybe I have just watched too much westworld in the past few days and im strectching now

It's why my main suspicions would be heavily on anyone who was for it at the moment.

If Nigel is a goody, the baddies will be thrilled to see us sacrifice him and destroy any chance of vote analysis.

    Was anyone all for it?

Frank seems to lean towards it being a safe bet? Dont think any one else advocated it, did they?

tbh thats a big leap by me so don't change any plan of action but it was just niggling me that we have so little info and this is Westworld where something like that would make sense.

    Very presumptuous.

Given we have no idea how things will play out, we should just play the game as if the OP wont change. If it changes, we re-evaluate.

By your logic we could lynch a roled goodie and be ok if the game changes, I get the theme of the show, but i find that unlikley.

But I will says we are all assuming things will change based on the mechnics of the show Westworld.

Yeah it shouldnt change the contingency plan.

At this stage name something anyone has said that isn't presumptuous.

tbh I kinda said the same in my next post, but no by my logic lynching a roled goodie would not be ok, however if that scenario were real (doubt I called it tbh) I would think that a lynched NRV could have later been woken akin to how hosts were on the show.

Alternatives? Hit someone at random and hope they arent a roled goodie?
    Nigel WW wrote: »
Will you do us an FFA there please?

Legit don't have alternatives. That's kind of my point though.

As far as an FFA, I don't have one there yet either. Other than the Nigel/Katie (think it was Katie) back and forth, absolutely nothing has stood out for me yet.

I don't think there's mentions of tasks in the opening of the game, so I'm inclined to think there is none. I'm inclined to think we're usually told when there is, so I'd be suspicious of anyone proposing lynching anyone based on that.

Felt reading through the posts that there was more than Frank pushing the Nigel idea; if that's true, so be it.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,568 ✭✭✭Ewan WW

My thoughts on the lynching of Nigel are that there is some merit in it if he is NRV as although we need to be killing the wolves SK at this point we do not have any clue as to who they may be. I don't think a roled villager would take such a risk. It could be a bold move by an evil team but this early in the game its risky. My only issue with it is that while it keeps our roled villagers safe it gives us nothing to work with as there will be no spread of votes which make it an easy place to hide.

I do feel though that the discussion is getting derailed with it and we should park it til later in the evening when we are closer to lynch and try to work out a better strategy for the lynch. At the moment FFA's seem to be all we have to go on.

Is there anyone collating the FFA's? I will have mine up before I leave work but cannot collate them as I will be on mobile from 5.30 onwards.

Id be more inclined to think we are told when there ARENT tasks, as opposed to being told there are. I, too, could be wrong on this however.

The problem is, the second the idea is floated, a load of people will switch off or stop looking for wolves, since it's a plan on a day when plans are tough to formulate.

Anyway. Won't be voting for you on FFA or Vote regardless.

My main suspicion right now is Tegan.

I’ve never seen westworld. Am I correct in saying that westworld resets every day?

How about we scrap the contenigency plan.

Its almost like you want to be lynched?

Now why would someone want to get lynched......... nothing clear in the rather vanilla OP.

If Nigel had a role that gave him, the village or wolves a reward if he gets lynched, then it would make sense.

But Im sure if he did have a role such as that he couldnt tell us and its impossible to know which side he was on.

Voting Nigel seems like a bad move for now.

If hes the above its bad (all my speculation) If hes NRV its a bad move. (just because its a hes not potentailly roled doesnt make it ok either).

Nigel would be in my choices for seer checking though.

If you are doing an FFA, please put #FFA1 in the post so that teh person collating has an easier time finding them

That's not a shabby one tbf, would **** **** up though which is always fun. I think an FFA and a decision later as to the contingency around 8pm. Tbh I'd rather an old fashioned lynch at this point, reason being we've 5 evils and 2 roled goodies.

The odds are we hit a NRV or a bad guy. Risk v reward, I'm not mad on lynching Nidgy (i mean unanimously) either as it gives us little in voting patterns either.

I tend to agree. Yet, my dear Tegan your very first post was an FFA :pac::pac:

It was. And i shook that tree well.

Katie, was not impressed. 'Distain' was the word use trying to route out wolves.

It did to begin with, until all the hosts became awake and their narrative loops no longer restarted essentially.

    Hi Ewan :)

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,864 ✭✭✭Nigel WW

Seer checking me is a waste of a peek imo. The seer will do what they want. And if the odds are on the seer checking an NRV, it might as well be me to clear up that i do in fact have good intentions.

    BUGGER!

Lads, this post was mine. I switched computers but apparently accidently logged into an account I had access to previously. My utter sincerest apologies to whoever is Liam this game.

I don't know if mods need to do something about it but I wanted full disclosure there. I didn't look at anything within Liam's PMs or stuff, and logged out as soon as I saw what I had done accidently....
