If the idea is to get potential suicides to talk things through - why isn't the story depicting that with a positive conclusion?
Because it will show the impact it has on those around him.
The "moral" of the story is that suicide is not the answer.
But anyone desperate enough to consider suicide is not interested in the impact of those around them - surely it needed to show potential suicides that there can be a happier resolution

Personally I think that every actor did their part in making this week's viewing absolutely brilliant. It was extremely well directed and produced. My favourite scene was Gail speaking and the way the camera featured the different characters expressions. Will easily win best soap awards title this year.

No it won’t sadly IMO! But .......... it might - I’d say Emmerdale will do it again

It is so sad to think that for most of the time Corrie is just a pathetic run down show with redundant, useless characters and many redundant, useless plots when you consider how well portrayed the far reaching consequences of a suicide were.

It really puts in perspective how poor the programme really has been.

That's not a spoiler tho. It's just a surreal exaggerated adaptation of the group of people he wants to get revenge on. It wasn't an actual preview.

It gives away the date. Which is predicable to me but not to some.

He was also very nice to her when Kate and Rana got together and broke Sophie’s heart

Don’t think he wants revenge on Sara Lou unless because of the fact she’s with Gary! He fiddled Sara Lou outta money on the flats scam but she was going through her breakdown at the time and I’m not sure If she ever found out that he was fiddling the whole time!

I do not think Eileen or Tim have revealed the flat's scam that Phelan and Todd were also in on to anyone, did Eileen tell all to Liz?

Didn't she tell the police and then the police called to residents?

I was not sure, couldn't recall as I thought she wanted to protect herself and Todd

Has the free Anna campaign stopped?

Gary is more worried about David than his mother

I still do not understand how Daniel a non relative can just take Flora (who has or had dementia) out of the care home

Not sure of the exact date for these spoilers!
Eileen is shocked when she arrives home to find men clearing the furniture out of her house. How will she react when they explain that someone called Pat hired them. What is Phelan up to?

Later, Gary is pleased to see Nicola and Sarah getting along. Nicola tells them about her new online friend but Gary us suspicious when he realises they are based in Abergele.

Nicola is home alone when she hears a noise upstairs. As she goes to investigate she slips and falls.

Fiz hears a noise and is horrified to see Nicola lying at the bottom of the stairs.

As Nicola is loaded into an ambulance she experiences stomach pains so is rushed in for an emergency cesarean, will the baby be ok?

Meanwhile, Gary and Joe are in wales tracking down someone matching Phelan's description...

What will they do when they find Phelan alive and well, living on a camp site!

I'm wondering where she's supposed to be sleeping, in that two-bedroom flat. Is she sharing a bed with Daniel?

Corrie used to be great at throwing in the comic relief among the more serious storylines.

Corrie normally have very well constructed sets but tonight when David punched the wall of the cell, the whole wall shook. :-D

    No, it's in her handbag.

So funny with Michelle saying "I can't read this" and giving the letter for Johnny to Carla. She had no problem reading his will though.

Davids cell mate is cute. Like a version of Aaron in Emmerdale. One that looks like he's enjoying life though, even in prison.

One Aaron is enough for me!

I assume Aidan's solicitor has a signed copy of his will so Michelle taking it is pointless

Flora: Is there something wrong with that girl's back?

Sinead: Yes, three years ago I was in a car crash and lost the use of my legs.

Hmm, the writers seem to have forgotten that fact. It also hit me last week that alya said "My entire life was on this street.. luke..Aidan". Yet no mention of her Dad who died in the apartment building around the corner.
