Sending CV`s to American Companys in America

Hey People

Has anyone tried sending CV`s to american company`s based in America to receive work through a visa? im a forklift driver out of work and would love to work in America and was wondering if anyone has tried this. i know usually you can work for a company over here and you can ask your employer to organise a work visa , but i am interested to know if american companys would hire from ireland ?

Visas are expensive for companies to get.

$10k-$20k.

Not to be harsh but unless you're the greatest forklift driver on the planet and nobody else can drive a forklift as well as you then they won't bother investing in a visa for you. It's too much hassle and effort for them when they can hire someone locally and not have to deal with spending money on a visa.

Basically is the mantra man. You have 0% percent chance. Only hope is the visa lottery or become manager of that fork-lift company,

You won't get a visa for that.

Sponsoring a prospective employee for a visa costs US employers approx $5000-$10,000. They won't be willing to go to all that trouble and expense unless you have qualifications, specialist skills or a trade that are high demand/short supply over there. America has plenty of forklift drivers of its own. (Sorry to be so blunt.)
