Folding stuff. Every women I've ever known was great at the old folding.

Shirts, T-shirts, doesn't matter what, they could fold it all up as neat as stuff laid out in Debenebehams (too lazy to Google the spelling, you know the place, opposite Arnotts).

So what do you think women are better at doing than the mens are at doing things than?

Ok a few random ones here!
Organizing things, studying, smiling, standing up for friends, intuition and being intimate or affectionate

Remembering what needs to be picked up at the supermarket. He cannot accept that he's bad at it.

I can ask himself to get three things, say milk, bread and tea. He'll refuse to write it down because his memory is supposedly fantastic, then he'll come home with milk, bread and shoe polish or onions or bran flakes or something. He's a world class vacuumer though, exceptional.

I'd agree with the organizing and studying. I do all the organizing for trips, household stuff and all the financial stuff. I'd be faster and more thorough at that kind of thing generally.

Might just be my own experience but I've found girls to have a more methodical approach to studying.

Yes I think lads get more distracted easily and forget to study whereas a girl/woman will set aside a certain amount of time no matter. That is a generalisation but I have found this to be true!

I think it’s a combination of neatness and the ability to remember multiple things at once that helps with the household and financial stuff :)

Do you think women cope with break ups better?...

    Talking.

Women can talk amongst each other about anything (or nothing), with gusto. I think it's a learned behavior from observing the ladies in their lives and I believe they really benefit from it.
I was right beside 3 girls (about 12 or 13 years old I'd say) queuing for the shop at a match and I couldn't help but notice how they kept talking about mundane things like class mates their siblings on and on. I was so close I could overhear and what struck me was there was no purpose as such to the conversation. They were each interested in what the others were saying but it was largely irrelevant. They could just as easily have been a group of ladies of any age. It was just random inane conversation amongst friends.

Guys would be asking specific questions or telling a specific story but then standing in silence. We can't seem to talk with the same ease. It's like there has to be a purpose to the conversation, and once that's resolved, the conversation is over.

I think this genuinely helps females in terms of making connections and offloading some issue's which, in guys, could (and do) lead to mental health or socialising problems.

Short term no, but long term yes. A woman will fall apart in the immediate aftermath, have a mini breakdown but then start to pull it all together and think it all through and start to move on after a period of being alone.

A man will act like nothings happened and go out and get busy with someone new or drink a lot and apparently forget her in five days, but still somehow seem to be more permanently damaged from the trauma, hurting and distrustful for a longer period of time.

Complete generalizations based on nothing but my own observations, of course.

Again it’s a generalisation but this usually is true, the woman usually gets all the hurt and pain out during these few days(ice cream and girl friends over!!) while a man will bottle it up and show he is fine!

This leaves a lot of unresolved hurt and issues going forward for some not all men.

To be fair I've an ex who seemed determined to buy three-quarters of the ingredients for 6-7 different meals, somehow managing to get everything within 48 hours of it going out of date. Every. Fecking. Time

Food waste wrecks my head, so I feel your pain on that one.

Don't even talk to me about the sell by dates. He never looks, never. :(

I was talking to my mum on the phone a few months ago and she told me my dad was out buying a kayak, which I thought was pretty cool. So I called him later and asked him kind he got and he told me he bought a generator instead. He has no use nor need of a generator, he just thought it was a good idea. This kind of thing seems to be a male preserve. :)

Women are better at sticking to the mission statement. :)

On the break-ups thing I think it's the case that divorced men lose years off life expectancy while it makes no difference for women.

This is a very good point. It's interesting that you say there was no purpose to the conversation, describe it as inane and mundane, but in reality making conversation this way is a great skill and beneficial in the long run as it helps you get things off your chest in a way which a lot of men cannot do.

Gross generalisation, but lads need to have an opinion on something before they talk about it, women can chat away about things and form the opinion later.

Well yeah I'll admit the random bullsh*t buys are something I find myself at at times too. But in my defense those dozen picture frames were going cheap, and think of all the possible uses I could get out of them!

Unless he's like me, went to Lidl a few months back for some messages on her instructions, came back with a trumpet, ONLY a trumpet, she went nuts, told her i'd got excited.

That is true about older males. I wish a friend of mine had talked.

I have heard male late teens having random discussions on the bus about everything and anything but there is a social media timebomb waiting to go off.

Apart from men who have served in the military.

They have folding down to a complete science .

You should definitely blow your own trumpet once in a while, for the sake of it.

And to remind her of the consequences of sending you to the shops alone. :)
