    :D:D:D

I dunno how else to describe it!! It's a guttural sort of sound. Like saying the start of the name Shaughnessy maybe, but without the a, so shough, with a real emphasis on the ugh?

    So like shugh.
Someone else help me out here!

Like shock by any chance? Few fields by the river near home called the shocks not sure of the spelling.

A gripe here is a deep ditch. The lad driving is the same age as me so no spring chicken. Digger ran out of diesel going up the hill on the rescue mission. He was rolling brambles along the gripe as the front wheel went in he hit the brakes which were split and the back wheel went in too

A gripe here is a complaint

Had a major scatter action when we let some calves out. They had been in a yard since yesterday so we assumed the giddiness would be gone . Lucky they didn't get on the motorway

We'd use sheugh if it ran at the bottom of a hill, gripe if it's on the flat. Jesus we're horrid awkward in this family!

We just interchange them depending on the mood. Drain gets thrown in sometimes too.

Bought a PB cow near calving in the mart for €1500 last winter. Sold her bull calf today for €2000 in the field.

I was spreading fertiliser by hand on a hill during the week and took off my peaky cap as a marker for each run up the hill.
    Panda ate it :(

Leitrim always seems wild to me, but I had no idea there were Panda roaming about the place.
