Are women only interested in how attractive they are, and does everything else come 2nd...
I think this is TRUE and only diminishes in their 40s as they realise how attractive or unattractive they are!?!?

Despite what the feminists would argue - yes.

I'm glad I'm unattractive by most standards- I get to develop a character that has nothing to do with looks.

    Not at all.
    It's just an observation.

    Edit: Great input tho.

The prettiest woman can be uglier than an average looking woman, a less than average looking woman can be more beautiful than the prettiest woman, it all comes down to what the person is like.
Looks are the first thing one sees, but the rest is what matters ultimately. No good being a good looking person and then being a horrible person...it just makes one very ugly.

You seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder about the aul wimmins. You need to have a chat with chore sex guy and see if you can work it out between each other.

    What’s the question?

Are the hive mind of women shallow and solely interested in appearance? Well since we’re all the same and seemingly subhuman you must be onto something op...

Not all women care about attractiveness. I find some care about it all their lives similar to some men.
I find they can be a group mentality tough amongst young women.(Teens/Early Twenties)

Either you're contradicting yourself, or you're only talking about some women? You're hardly shocking anyone with that statement anyway, and seeing as you're not likely to be convinced otherwise - as long as you're right, nothing else matters. Some people are like that, not the most attractive quality in a person for me personally, but apparently it is for some people.

    Yeah good point.
But you can always tell her to "just stand there and keep her gob shut".. (just in case she embarrasses you).. So we shouldn't really dis 'opinionated' women or women with horrible attitudes!?
It would be worth teaching them manners if their beautiful!?..

Dont see how the OP applies any more to women than to men? everyone cares about attractiveness of themselves and others to some extent for the duration of their life

So... you're saying you want women give up in their 20s, too? Stop shaving (washing, too, in some cases), give up on wearing anything but tracksuit bottoms and wash-out sweatshirts, that sort of thing?

Perhaps the women the OP is talking about believe that attractiveness is the only worth they have.

I can never understand this. Why is the importance of physical and sexual attraction played down?

I can never understand this. Why is the importance of physical and sexual attraction played down?

Because it is not of prime importance. Small part of life.

No it's not!!! It's of the utmost importance. It's called attraction!

For me at least it's the eyes that attract, first and foremost.

    NO NO NO
Jeeeeez are you all purposely avoiding my point, my God..
Anyway what you mention is normal 'necessary' common routines and good health awareness etc....
What I'm talking about goes deeper MUCH deeper than those common everyday rituals....

Its not what's on the outside that counts, it's what's on the inside......

    So say ugly people worldwide

That's how my brother ended up with b*tch after b*tch for girlfriends, until he married the queen of them.
And after the wedding, she stopped wearing make-up, taking care of her hair, wearing nice clothes - so now he's got a nasty and ugly wife.

The reason people tell you to look at people's personalities is because they don't change as fast as looks do.

There seems to be an acceptance that attraction is only down to aesthetics. We all have 5 senses, vision is only one of them.
That's not to even start on the two most important elements, the heart and the mind.
