Peter blubbing over the baby . Are we really expected to believe that a man who hasn't given two F**ks about his biological child would be nurturing towards a child that isn't biologically his??

I might have missed something, I skipped through most of the Jude/Angie scenes, but did they say they are only together two years? The baby must be about ten months old, which means they must have gotten pregnant very early on... Anyone clarify?

I don't like Toyah now anymore, she is stealing poor Eva's baby :-( Can't wait for the truth to come out.

Steve's depression has been forgot about, what was his miracle cure, getting rid of wagon Michelle

Also Angie's post natal depression -all gone now apparently.
Didn't Audrey have a heart condition for about two episodes as well? Angina or something?

I thought it was accepted Michelle leaving improved Steve's life?

I mean since she latched onto Robert he nearly lost his business and he did lose his hair colour and a testicle?

Peter thinks the new baby is biologically his and Toyah's from the surrogate and I think as he messed up with Simon, this is his second chance to get it right

Ah okay, didn't realise he was actually the father of the surrogate baby

Yeah, poor Peter hasn’t even had the chance to mourn the loss of his baby. I guess it will eventually come out that it’s not his and Eva will probably leave with the baby, it will feel like he’s lost his child. I would never forgive Toyah for that!

I thought the VERY same thing regarding Jude the mood and Flangey -the 10 month old acts better than them

I found the Jude plot funny. At least him and Mary's plan had a slight chance of success. Not like Toyah and Eva's trainwreck.

I really dislike that depression has been "cured" so quickly. Steve and Angie were the most recent, though no suicide attempt afair. Plenty of other characters have attempted it and were saved but no depression storylines followed. They get saved and are cured. I know it's only a soap and isn't real, but yet again mental illness gets glossed over.

But he thinks it is biological his, it’s a surrogate baby, I thought the surrogate was carrying toyas and peters biological child. I thought the problem with Tohya was she is able to get pregnant but will never carry a baby to full term.

I really prefer Peter with Leanne than Toyah and Carla

Ended up deleting both of last night's episodes. Utter rubbish.

Time for Kate Oates to concentrate on new characters. The show has gone to the dogs. . It needs a revamp. Sick of the Grimshaws, McDonalds can **** off, The Platts are ok. Maybe if Oates killed off people like Barbara Knox and Jenny Mcalpine more people might tune in.

Anyone enjoying watching classic Corrie on ITV3 I know I was only a baby but I swear I remeber most of the storylines.

Cheek of Toyah asking Ava why she had the photos.....can’t wait for Ava to take that baby back!

How deluded and thoughtless is Toyah. Does she think Eva has no feelings. I know Toyah might be frightened someone else might see the photos Eva had taken of her and baby Susie but Eva had every right to have those photos taken.

    I didn't know that.

I meant Rita and Fiz there as well by the way. I didn't actually mean for Kate Oates to kill off the lovely Barbara and Jennie

I wonder what ridiculous story they’ll come up with for when Fiz goes on maternity leave!

Another crisis concerning Cilla no doubt. Although they could also just say that she's upstairs or gone to the shops. It's not as if anyone is going to miss her anyway

Corrie really missed the boat with Aidan.. it could have been so classy. But they've obviously released the details beforehand so they could get the viewers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 714 ✭✭✭Livvie

Aidan's suicide is just gratuitous.  Since when has Corrie been responsible for highlighting social issues, but if they really wanted to get a message across, why couldn't they show a failed suicide attempt and the aftermath of that, with support, counselling and a positive outcome - wouldn't that be more preventative and offer some hope?

I'm glad I saw the spoilers that Aidan commits suicide because his actions make sense now with him tying up things, like getting Summer her dress and giving the watch to Liam

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 311 ✭✭bobsman

Poor Aidan. Oddly enough, he's the only realistic character in the whole bloody show

After seeing the spoiler I've been watching more closely... I can see what's happening now.

Those photos were pretty crap to be honest; no wonder yer man is losing business to the smartphone.
