In fairness to them they've been going a long time but it's clear that they've gone stale. After the World Cup they should pack it in and do something else separately. They're fizzling out.
They've broken the 10k subscriber mark on Patreon in the past couple of weeks. I doubt very much they would pack it all in when things are on the up and revenue is over 50k a month!

Their numbers suggest otherwise. So with regard to fizzling out,I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion. It's counterintuitive.

    I listen to the programme.

And if the posters opinions in this thread are anything to go by they are on the wane quality wise.

    and that's a sampling error

those with issues are always more likely to be vocal than those who are happy with the content

Even 100 moaners on this thread would still only be 1% of subscribers.

And there isn't anywhere near 100 moaners on this thread.

Like yourself now? Am I too assume the people that do
agree with me are the silent majority so?

Uh oh. "Silent majority". Thay doesn't bode well for this debate.

Anyway, what're they doing for the World Cup? Is Ken going? Will there be daily football pods?

Yeah, I'm not the one that brought that point up. It was the lad that liked your post, ironically.

    ?

How does what I posted feed into your conclusion that those who have issues with the show are a silent majority?

A handful of posters on here - you included - are complaining about content. You even consider the podcast to be 'fizzling out'.

Yet all the evidence i.e. active subscriber numbers on a continual increase points to a wholly different reality.

Where the f**k is the irony?

You’re growing a bit tired of the pod (which is understandable – you can only listen to a podcast for a certain time before it goes stale) so you believe they should pack the entire thing in, despite their riproaring success and growing popularity. It’s a crazy mentality whereby just because you don’t like something anymore, you believe that thing should no longer exist.

They really only seem to cover the top 6 in the premiership, there's rarely any proper coverage of relegation battles, la liga, serie A or the championship.

That's always been a problem, top 6 in the Premier league and Madrid and barca is 95% of the football coverage. It used to be top 4 only, but we get spurs and city now

he just seems like a mate that you bring along to a five a side to make up the numbers if you are short

I'd say playing 5 a side with you is great craic.

I personally really enjoy his contributions he's both very funny and also quite thoughtful in the GAA area especially. You could criticise any of them in different ways but nobody is making up the numbers.

For what it's worth I think some of their recent interviews have been up there with their finest work.

I always enjoy when they feature different sports and people with interesting stories to tell.

The football content hasn't been helped by the fact that the premier league has been so boring this year.

Agreed. Even Sky haven't been able to hype matches up since around Christmas.

I think Eoin and Ken would be fine as they are good at what they do but Murph could be in trouble getting another gig in the area, he just seems like a mate that you bring along to a five a side to make up the numbers if you are short

Think he's grand talking about the GAA or on his own, but i really hate when he interupts the lads (usually ken) who are midflow to bring in some vague Simpsons or Seinfeld or curb your enthusiasm reference...

I find him really painful apart from GAA, think it's more his tone which is 'I'm about to say something absolutely hilarious' and then he doesn't, ever.

But fair play to him and the lads delighted they got to 10k subscribers doing things their own way, although I doubt they'd lose many of them if he left versus say Ken or Eoin?

No. doubt anyone subscribes or listens for him alone.

Murf seemed the most natural/ best suited when they had the TV show though, he's the only one I could see making it on TV if he wanted it

Todays pod brought to you SJWs and cuckboys.

US athlete Chris Mosier represented his country in the sprint race at the World Duathlon Championships in 2016, and in the process became the first transgender athlete to make an American national team.
He's the first transgender athlete we've had on the show, and he tells us about life since he transitioned back in 2010, appearing on Nike ads and in ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue, and the atmosphere in America for transgender people today in light of President Trump's regressive attitudes to their community.

I think it's a piss take of vocal minority of Trumpflakes on here who are likely to be triggered by the suggestion that trans people are real people, and pre-empting their meltdowns and attacks on SC virtue signalling.

I'm far from a Trumpflake but I strongly believe in fairness in ability when it comes to sports, when I think of trans people in sport it just sits very wrong with me.

Trans males competing in womens sports is a huge no no for me. Unfair advantage whatever way you look at it. Its not good for women and it makes trans people look terrible.

So was Chris Mosier born a woman and now competes with men, as a man?
edit: What are Trump's attitudes towards their 'community'?

Yep born a woman and competes as a man. Absolutely terrible "interview", didn't question any of his beliefs. Says that gender is on a spectrum but references science when talking about Caster Semenya. Black lives matter, gender spectrum, male privellage. Jesus Christ at least question something, all agreement all the time with these interviews. Ask a tough question at least.

Trumps attitude? He was blocking trans people serving in th military. You'd swear he hates everyone from the LGBT community going by that interview.
