    Any reviews on p20 lite?
I bought one today but can't open till I leave the country on Tuesday. I'm not a gamer or anything like that, just normal usage, browsing photos etc.
    Salesman was very persuasive!!

Carphone Warehouse UK are advertising the black, blue, and twilight at £799.

    https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/huawei/p20-pro.html#!colour=twilight&capacity=128GB&dealType=sf

You have to enter too many details to find out what stores have it but you could see if any of the NI one's have stock. Hit Asda on the way home and it's well worth the trip.
I'm looking for it on contract to be honest so hoping vodafone get the twilight version in soon.
Personally Id never pay that money for a phone. Only getting it on contract as work pay the phonebill luckily

Ordered P20 Pro in Eir Store last Tuesday (couldn't avail of online offer as was waiting for upgrade to kick in). Went in yesterday only for them to tell me Huawei are out of stock at the moment and don't know when they will be back in stock. He was talking to sales guy from Huawei and he said the sales are gone well and above their expectations.

Yes looks like it's the flagship phone to beat this year

Does anyone have any issues with phone charging while using Android auto in car? My one plus used to charge pretty quickly when using Android auto. Don't think my p20 pro did at all on drive to work today
    Thanks,
    Mick

I done a test on this this evening. Battery start at 57%, driving for 55mins with android auto, using Spotify and maps. WiFi should be off, nfc, BT on.

Battery charged to 62%, so a 5% gain.

My car was always slowish charging my s7 also. I think its a combination of the car charger output and the new bigger battery.

How have you got on since?

When I'm driving it charges slowly. Only gains a few percentage points. With my one plus 5t it used to rapidly charge with same cable from head unit in the car. I actually never had to charge my one plus at night as it topped up on the drive to and from work. I'll try the p20 Pro cable in the car this week just in case it's more fussy with cables

My son got his P20 lite today only 49 with a €30 per month contract.
I picked him up the official case too, which comes with a nice feature, a translucent panel through which notifications can be read when closed.

So I'm currently using a s7 edge. I was thinking of changing to the S9, however I'm.seeing great reviews on the P20 pro.

Would anyone have any hands on experience using the s9 and P20 pro.

Or has anyone moved from the s7 edge to the P20 pro?

    Thanks

Steve Litchfield's review on the Phones Show wasn't as positive as most I've seen.

Sales of the p20 Pro are 316% higher than the p10 Pro..

Huawei seem to have put a major push in marketing the p20. Most reviewers I've seen have a bunch of photos taken in Paris. Did they pay to bring a bunch of tech reviews to the launch there? The p20 Pro is excellent. I came from one plus 5t and while the one plus was a powerhouse performance wise and probably even felt faster that the p20 Pro the camera on the hauwei is streets ahead of anything else I've seen or used. It's a pity the crap the US are going on about blocked their carrier deals or they would have major win on their hands

I'm not sure the P20 Pro is worth the premium over the "ordinary" P20.

Sure there's a better camera, bigger battery and waterproofing but is it worth the extra couple of hundred €?

    AMOLED Vs LED screen
    IP67 Vs None
    6GB Ram Vs 4GB Ram
    Camera
    IR Blaster
    4000maH vs3400 mA battery

€200 euro Diff on VF bill pay
    €220 euro on PAYG

I think only you can decide if its worth the extra €200. For me I will have the phone for 2 years so it €8.33 and month or €1.92 a week and the camera features it is worth it.

€163 difference on Eir Business billpay. Yes I agree it's worth that ok.

id be happier if three would send me the bose headphones :)

Only minor gripe with the phone is that it charges way slower using android auto on my car than last phone, also I noticed the dialer doesn't work in android auto... music and maps are fine..  camera and screen are performance are main selling points for me

It's a great phone. Battery is very good but Google Maps is so slow and sometimes doesn't even work at all. Anyone else have this issue or a solution please?

Just a heads up for those on 3 waiting for the pre order headphones.

Mine just arrived via nightline. No advanced warning of delivery or tracking number, just a ring in the doorbell. Glad I wasn't in work today!
