Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Auba single captain. Not sure I get why he isn't listed in the choices.

Definitely TC. Either Jesus or Kane. 'arry has let me down too often this season. TBD

Nobody with single captain Kane so far is interesting.

I'd like to do Sterling, but worried he won't start one of the games. Kane is nailed on in that respect.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Hoping to turn Sterling into gold with a TC.

Thinking Harry depsite form, because know 100% he will play unless injured. Doubts about Sterling/Jesus playing both

    5 choices.
    1. Kane, safe and with something to play for but in crap form despite his late scoring
    2. Aubameyang, only if Arsenal unlikely knock Atletico out of EL
a City attacker, despite them having nothing to play for
    3. Sterling, but

    4. Sané, rested recently so should be "safe" from rotation
    5. Jesus, Agüero out so should be safe too but who knows Guardiola might play Nmecha :pac:...

    -

So. On Jesus with Kane vice right now. But Sterling recent form is appealing and am tempted by "gambling" on Sané. In summary I still have no clear idea :pac:.

    Any Love for David Silva?

Rested last week and should be back from Spain before the weekend.

Auba would be a safer bet if arsenal go out. If they go through I don't think he will start the second game as the team that starts the final will.

Going with sterling tc, well I think alot of city players are on rotation risk but sterling is playing well and I doubt pep will drop him with the form he's in.

    Jesus. TC already played.

Sterling TC. Could switch to Jesus or Kane or a more obscure choice closer to the deadline.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,582 ✭✭✭NoviGlitzko

On Jesus at the minute with BB at play. To me he's the most nailed on of between him and Sterling, and especially given the easy opposition (Sterling only started up front vs Man United).

Would love to put it on Sterling though. Don't have Kane etc.

    Sterling(TC)

    Kane Vice

    But still also considering Jesus

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,996 ✭✭✭✭billymitchell

Gone with Sterling TC as well. I think there is less chance of him being dropped, if anything Jesus could be dropped to have Sterling play in the false 9 position. And Kane even though he is scoring, doesnt seem to be playing well at the moment.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21 EarlSlick

Sterling is my hunch as he is in form and Pep will likely want him to score a few as he deserves them following his three assists last week.

Kane is tempting but in terrible form

Hazard is a left field choice. Low ownership but will be looking to sign off his Chelsea career in style

Why do people think there is less chance of Sterling sitting out a game? Sane did, Walker did. Think Pep is trying to give games out to as many people as possible before the season ends so I would think you’re going to see Sane and Bernardo Silva occupy those positions for one game (couldn’t even begin to hazard a guess at which one) before the season ends.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,321 ✭✭✭Brego888

Have Jesus and Kane as triple captain options. Kane not exactly in form but Jesus isn't particularly prolific. Kane could easily bag 3 or 4 goals so it has to be him really.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,063 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Tc kane. Guaranteed 180mins and a minimum of two goals I'd guess. That could be 40 points

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,708 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

Like most its between Jesus and Kane for TC but very tempted by Sane to make up ground against my rivals BB.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,113 ✭✭✭the whole year inn

Tempted with Sterling, but more I think about it Kane could get a haul,he is due a massive run son and I think I have to pick him as there is doubt to Sterling and I need the points.

Agreed Sterling will get rested or at best come off the bench for one of these games I'd say

I think City might be a situation where if you don’t start a game you’re unlikely to come off the bench either. The sub appearances seem to be going to the likes of Toure, Mendy, Foden.

It made sense at the time. Only my team was in such a mess and ended up wildcarding that gw I probably would have too.

This is the absolute correct take. Toure might even start the last few games

No chance. City aren't playing for any cups so their best players will play the remainder of their games.

City are going for the elusive 100 points in a season. They have to be looking to play their best team for that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,715 ✭✭✭Cartman78

    On Jesus at the minute.

Kanes relatively poor form and fitness and Spurs up against a resurgent WBA and NEW has me doubting him.....but he is more explosive.....and is going for Golden Boot....and scored about 20 goals in the last 2 matches last year...

  • Registered Users Posts: 153 ✭✭BackforFPL

    TC Sterling.... I think.

Harry will probably bag a DGW DHT (Double Game Week Double Hat Trick) just to spite me though.

    No one on Arnie?

I'm still undecided but currently on Jesus (c)

    Sterling is the form pick.

But Kane is just so fúcking explosive, even though he's off form, that I'm turning.

Think I’m going with Sterling for TC.

It’s between himself, Jesus and Kane and there are reasons to captain either of the three.

Kane will play 180 minutes and has penalties but isn’t in great form and West Brom are digging in for their current manager and Newcastle are no pushovers.

Sterling is the obvious choice imo but he could easily start one of the games from the bench.

Jesus seems to be playing the Firmino role so can be fairly deep and is as likely to set up chances rather than score. He could also be off penalties now and he is also at risk of rotation. It is Pep after all.

Sane would be a great differential but he blew his audition last week as he was far too indecisive in front of goal.

Having just put my thoughts down I still don’t feel any the wiser. I’m ruling out Kane so it’s Jesus or Sterling amd Sterling was my first choice when the last gameweek ended so I think that’s where I’ll go.

One thing I’m sure of is I’ll avoid Defoe for the TC.

    Maybe next year Jermain.

Bravo has only featured in 1 game.

3 games left means he won't make the minimum of 5 appearances including substitute to get a medal. So why do it Pep?

Going to switch to Kane now anyway. He's hungry for the golden boot and if he converts even 1/4 of his chances that he'll likely get it'll be a good week.
